Maybe I'm missing something. Have you seen him demonstrate leadership? Have you seen something that indicates that he is tactically better than the man across from him? Has he done literally anything that says, sure this has a good chance to be successful? He did display a remarkably quick trigger (7 starts) to divest himself from the best assest the franchise had upon his hiring.

Oh, nevermind that's a negative too.

Cant wait to see this board after we spank the fucking eagles. Than we can pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and toast yet again (like last week) to how we can easily win our division and how we have a good group of players and mojo and hip hip hooray. [emoji6]

The next couple years are gonna' be a bit of a....Missouri Boat Ride" until SM's handiwork bears fruit....Hang on
And HTTR!

Would it be fair to say he inherited an absolute shit show? Can we give him more than 19 games to get his guys and his philosophy in place? Look at the turnover on this team since the 2013 season ended. Not to mention the circus sideshow that has been the RG-3 saga he walked into. Im not saying he is gonna be great, but I dont think many coaches in history would have turned our team around at this point.

He walked into a pure shit show, thanks to Snyder, Allen and Shanahan. Hopefully Gruden gets three years. Successful organizations don't fire coaches every couple years. Let this staff grow another year with a lot of these young players.

My issue with the team is the penalties. Just dumb shit week after week with these guys. It's been this way for so long too, before Gruden got here.

J is the HC.
It all flows from him. He is in control.
As he goes so goes the team.

Whatever he inherited its up to him to bring stability, identity and to begin to right the ship and move in the right direction and eventually to win.

J has spent most of his time actively trying to prove one of the QBs he inherited isn't any good. I believe if half the energy that went into tearing down Griffin went to not starting a newly activated LB as punt protector OR not having Carrier block the POA on a critical edge run...etc...he and the team would be better for it.

I'm a gruden fan and I know I'm not in the majority on this but I think he can be a good HC given the right players. If we fire him then that's just another head coach given 2 years in Washington doesn't that get old folks? U can't just keep firing guys over and over. As far as the qb position goes I'd love to just ship griffin to Tennessee for mettenburger but that's not happening so we are stuck with kirk and just have to hope he turns his career around.

I'm with you.

See Robert. See Robert play. See Robert stink.
The End
The moral of the story is J did no such thing to tear down Griffin. He did it all by himself on the damn field of play.

vince lombardi is a good coach, but his stint here wasn't a winning season. you can't will rgiii to play like aaron rodgers, that's just not how it works. if a team is lacking talent, you do the best with what you have and wait until you can get better players.

I don't think J is a great HC right now, and i'm not sure he'll ever be one, but you can't preach accountability and then not hold certain players accountable. that's just a generally bad idea.

anyways, kirk had a bad game, J got away from the run way too early (maybe they felt the giants were too strong there? or the injuries changed the plan? still, we can't be throwing it 50 times very often w/ the current cast). both ints were bad throws, the first one was an obvious no throw before it even left his hands. if you catch a db breaking in like that, you gotta know better.

lerib looked bad getting pushed around out there too. reed has to stop getting pi flags and jones needs to stop fumbling. the coaching staff needs to show they can scout opponents and self scout tendencies better, cause they didn't seem to do a very good job there.

i think that's enough for me.

Cousin's arm strength is really his issue, if he was able to zip balls quicker he would be pretty good. 10 yards and under he is ok, I think teams are gonna try and force him to throw it longer now. The offensive line was really pretty decent last night, even with the injuries, plenty of time to throw the ball most plays. Thompson, Ross, Crowder, alot to excited about. I'm worried Trent Murphy will be another wasted 2nd rounder, we needed Gallette bad last night.

People should research before speaking out their ass. Kirk played bad, but doesn't lack arm strength. Now his accuracy is the question.
