It's a trap game, for sure. Giants usually play us well, and we have underperformed in primetime recently (which is why we have very few primetime games now).
However, the past two games were pretty consistent for us. Good D, Good run game, O+Dlines playing well, and a QB managing the game. The Giants currently are ranked #31 in defense and we're -- #1. If we just play like we've been playing, and get some good QB play -- we may be more competitive in years past.
Will be fun to watch, first time I can say that in a while..
To be fair we have under-performed in every game. This feels like a new team and Thursday will either prove that or disprove it. We have a real chance to put our foot on the throat of a team that has had our number for years and take control of this division and announce to the NFL that we have arrived and while we are not winning the SuperBowl we are not the easy check mark on your schedule anymore.

By splitting carries with Mo/Jo keeps them much fresher for the short turn around vs the Giants.
Hey look at this:

I know we got a couple of pieces to the D, but career idiot Jim Haslett is addition by subtraction! Consulting at Penn State - no wonder Temple finally beat them.

We were ranked number 1 last year after beating the jags. 1-1 was our record. Now this feels different though...
after two weeks last year we had also played two horrible teams, this year we played two teams expected to make the playoffs.

yup...plus the addition of Pot Roast, Paea, and a healthy Hatcher. Goldson at Free Safety has been a win so far as well....a little unsung imo. Culliver at CB will help against Odell this weekend.

Its actually 10 pts. per game that the D gave up. 7 pts. in the Miami game was from ST.

Another thing that's been key: not missing assignments. We've had a breakdown here and there, but it seems this year that people are where they're supposed to be.

Another key addition has been Perry Fewell, he's a like having a second DC out there, plus he's very familiar with the Giants.
