Anybody see the Redskins.com coverage of the quarterbacks at the OTA's? One thing stood out. Brunell still sucks. All his throws (the few I saw) were either wide, behind the receiver or underthrown. Sound familiar? So maybe the FO knew a little something after all when drafting J. Campbell. He looks awfully good and HIS throws were crisp, accurate and pretty. He will be the #2 to Patrick by the time the season starts. Even as a rookie, this is a great insurance policy. Brunell as a #3 is even a stretch. He should retire, give back some of the money and hold a clipboard.

Exactly. Let him talk about the good ol' days like when he had to walk 10 miles in the snow to throw crappy passes.

Man, the OTAs are great. The Dline one was hella boring. They also talk about Santana Moss and Antonio Brown racing, which is something I'd love to see in one of them. The defensive drills is probably my favorite. Nothing like watching big guys fight over a cone!

Hell I could play better then Burnell. J. Campbell does look good though.

The only bad throw I have seen in any of the clips was when Ramsey missed Cooley by about 10 yards!

poor Mark his career is done, but now we know why the Redskins used the 25th pick on Campbell............Hassellbeck wasn't the answer either......like I always say,
"IN GIBBS I TRUST"..........Joe saw something in Campbell he liked, and his friend and former QB Doug Williams seems to concur on what he saw at the Senior Bowl..........
I think its nice that Williams let Campbell wear #17............no number controversey ...

Actually, I did enjoy that Dline one. Only because of the story that they told at the begining about the undrafted Free Agent who slept on the sidewalk outside Redskins park so he wouldnt be late to pracitce.

True, Gmac. Good to see a guy with that kind of dedication!
Monk - that debate can go on forever, no doubting Campbell is a very talented QB.

He could hardly say no when they had already let Danny W wear it.
I think Williams always regarded number 12 as his 1st choice number anyway - he only wore 17 in D.C.
ASs for Brunell - he had some excellent years in Jacksonville but he has taken too much punnishment over the years and it has caught up with him. He was a good mobile QB who has lost his mobility. He never did have a rocket to begin with.

You're right, Dieselhog. Now he's a QB with no mobility and a noodle arm. If he's such a devout "christian", he should give some of the money back out of good conscience. Which is why drafting Campbell was a smart move in my opinion. He will be our starter one day. Remember, eagirl fans booed the drafting of Donovan McNabb and he's done ok. Except for chucking it in the SuperBowl (according to T.O.).
