the dolphins are a bit under rated. they haven't been flashy, but they've been competent. I've love for the skins to come out with a win, but I really don't know what to expect right now. gut says the phins are a better team right now, but this is still a winnable game.

Phins fans saying that if they don't win by 2 TDs they'll be disappointed, or a prediction of 34-6. Please. Your team hasn't done that to anyone since Marino was still playing (and our team hasn't since Joe Gibbs version 1.0).

Cowboys vs. Redskins - Box Score - December 18, 2005 - ESPN (http://scores.espn.go.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=251218028)

too bad mark brunell was only good for like 2 games a year at that point. still, your point stands.

I feel good about the season now. When espn ranks you last, that usually means you aren't that bad and you end up ascending.

Rejoice 'skins fans!

I don't think it's going to be very pretty. The Dolphins are a good football team, very sound on the defensive line (obviously) but they have some OL questions. If they can generate a running game and protect Tanneyhill it's going to be a quick day for the Skins.

31-16 Dolphins

To those citing kirks better pre snap reads and quick to get rid of the ball traits, while I agree, suh and wake are both nasty as hell so I'm still worried

I think that pre snap thing is just like Andy Dalton. I read an article by Peter King where NFL executives and coaches said Andy Dalton was almost on the same level as Manning and Brady with pre snap reads, but was one of the worst QBs when reading an offense post snap. I think Kirk might have that syndrome.

This is very accurate. He is great when things are post snap as he predicts pre-snap. When he has to make decisions on the fly when things change he's a disaster waiting to happen.

Got a little choked up when I saw Sean Taylor's name in the stats. It still stings.

that game against SF was awesome we actually kicked ass the entire game.

The dallas game was better though because they had a chance at the playoffs that yr as well and we destroyed them

Imagine what this board (and the Phins board) would look like if we somehow torched the Phins by 30. Folks here will be talking playoffs and the Phins phans will want to phry Philbin over a phire. (I didn't really write that; someone took over my keyboard.) And we'd all be crazy.
