The problem with calling it excessive is that the cap is going up a good amount each year with the new TV contracts kicking in a year or two ago. It may be excessive now, in 2 years, it could be the right amount, and the last couple of years, it may be a bargain. I think you are really starting to see the teams realize this and understand its time to do bigger contracts now, because they will only keep ballooning even larger as each year passes. Just look at some of the FA Signings. The Redskins seem to have stepped away from the ridiculous FA contracts, yet they keep getting bigger and bigger without our help when we were the team fueling it in the past. Personally, im glad its done with. Him, Kerrigan, and AlfMo are my 3 favorite Redskins. 2 of the 3 locked up long term. Hopefullly we keep AlfMo, but I know how it goes with RB's.
