Well,

I think I have started one of these for the last 3 seasons. And I was always high on kool-aid when I did it. If anyone is high this year, I very seriously doubt that it's on the Redskins Kool-aid. More likely Denver's brownies.

BUT

The new season starts in 2 weeks, and predictions MUST be made. So, What will we see this year. Will we go to the Super Bowl, or is the 1st overall ours without trading?

Will we add another year of last place NFC East, maybe we should trade with Arizona and be the cardinals, let them be the Redskins. (I'm kidding), or will there be a miracle at Fedex that finds us leading the way.

Make your predictions, the poll will be public, so be prepared to defend the good, the bad, and the ugly.

EDIT:

oops, 1 too many brownies when i put the numbers up. I guess people will get to pick a good 9(9-12) or bad 9(8-9) and wowser on the last options...

I voted for 8 and am hoping for 8. I just want to be happy drunk the same amount of times as bitter depressed drunk. I don't think that is being greedy.

Irrefutable's point is... irrefutable. I'd say benched personally.

I'm hoping for the best, but all I've seen so far is more of the same. Right now I've already had flashbacks of the past 2 seasons: key injuries, bad Oline play, bad secondary play, bad special teams play -- not to mention bad QB play, QB controversies, bad media management.

At this point I'm favoring 3-13 and hoping our Oline / Defense prove me wrong and get me excited. I'd give Griffin's chances of staying healthy and playing well about 20% or less.... And I'd give Cousin's chances of playing well about 40-50%. Sure, our Dline could surprise, our Oline could gel, M.Jones/Morris could take off, etc etc. But at this point I need to see some promise before I start to believe.

I'm saying 5-11 with a substantially improved defense and offensive line. Even though we've improved, we forget other teams have too. Still think our QB play will be mediocre at best, but that will be just enough to win us a few games. Hope I'm wrong, but I think we'll see the Scot improvement. Next year, I'll be way more pumped.

I do believe that we will have an improved team this year . I also think we will take some time to get the OLINE to come together as a unit . The Defense should be better , some of the INJ's ( Breeland / Hall ) , will hurt early in the season . I think we win 6 games ,maybe 7 if the QB play is much better . Lets just whip NY , Dallas and Philly badly in a few games !
