If we're worried about the starting secondary, I would wait until the regular season to see. We've missed starters here and there all preseason and that one reason we're seeing starting QBs eat us up (in addition to the cover three). Clean up tackling, get starters back, I think the secondary will be a ton better.
If we have one injury back there, yikes.

6-10 or 7-9
Defense much improved
Cousins is starter for most of season
Biggest improvement is team compete level and reputation for physically punishing the opponent.

7-9 at best imo. Too much drama going on and griffin is already out for this next game. Dude is never healthy it's becoming a joke. Cousins will win the job soon.

Its a three scenario season.
#1 - Griffin plays most of the season and we win six or seven games.
#2 - Griffin gets hurt early, Cousins come in and plays like he has and we win six or seven games.
#3 Griffin gets hurt early, Cousins comes in shedding his interception hang over and we win nine games.

6-10 seems reasonable... hopefully.

Well,
I think I have started one of these for the last 3 seasons. And I was always high on kool-aid when I did it. If anyone is high this year, I very seriously doubt that it's on the Redskins Kool-aid. More likely Denver's brownies.
BUT
The new season starts in 2 weeks, and predictions MUST be made. So, What will we see this year. Will we go to the Super Bowl, or is the 1st overall ours without trading?
Will we add another year of last place NFC East, maybe we should trade with Arizona and be the cardinals, let them be the Redskins. (I'm kidding), or will there be a miracle at Fedex that finds us leading the way.
Make your predictions, the poll will be public, so be prepared to defend the good, the bad, and the ugly.
EDIT:
oops, 1 too many brownies when i put the numbers up. I guess people will get to pick a good 9(9-12) or bad 9(8-9) and wowser on the last options...
Too much drama and who knows what will transpire in the first 6 weeks of a rather tough schedule. Anymore injuries n the D and we are pretty much a bottom feeder for sure. I voted for 4-7 wins. I have to agree with MattyK though and will brace myself for a repeat of 2014. Just too much garbage going on at Redskins Park at the moment. I am expecting two more major losses due to injury as well. It has been a rather unlucky preseason thus far.

Gruden won't commit to the running game. My guess is we find out just how far out of his depth he is.
It's funny that you say this, because I feel that McCloughan is building Seattle #2, and I'm wondering if his vision of a run first/strong defense type of team will ever conflict with Gruden's vision of a passing offense.

I voted 4-7 (voted with my eyes, not my heart)
I think we'll be somewhat better, but not by a lot
Qb play will be better in year 2 vs. year 1...just because our qb's are more confortable
I really don't have a read yet whether Def, ST or O-line will be improved or stay the same
I predict the Skins will win enough games and garner enough positive interest so that the game replays will be aired other than just 4 am.
I'm real tired......
