SF i always took you for a pretty sensible guy based on your comments. But please stay away from the the e pre-season kool aid. Lol. Especially when its being mixed by a bunch of guys that may or may not even make the team. Who the hell cares what our record is? Our starters have been absolutely abused by three other teams starters so far. We have looked completely unprepared coming out in every game. You want to point to the fact that we were leading at halftime? Lets not forget that we had a damn lucky td catch, and that it was a miracle they didnt atleast get three before the half. I hope to God we are a good team this year, but Im sorry im seeing a team that is once again drafting in the top five. No doubt.

What went on? We were getting lit up by Flacco and Smith and that would have continued all night if he had not gotten ejected. We werent scoring until we were the beneficiaries of a very lucky catch.
The only thing that I will take away from tonite is that our QB looked half way decent and not completely lost. And ill take that as a huge plus.
I could care less what the final score of the game was. If this were the regular season they would have spanked us.

It's a two way street. Goes your way, goes the other. Give me the list of maybe the last three teams you heard....proclaim they got points they did not deserve?
Let's see, KC could easily have cratered as maybe the biggest performance of his career. But....he did not. Even after his INT...he didn't. He played pretty well.
With several....key starters out, we posted (with starters on starters) a winning score at the half and our 2nd and thirds mopped their 2 and 3 squad.

Kick their ass when they deserve, but give a few accolades when deserved...

was at the game & it started to look like it was gonna be a long night...then, *poof*, the 'Skins got a few breaks that went our way.

Kirk looked better than we've seen, but he was still throwing behind guysand I felt he was staring the receivers down still. But, after a rocky start, he finished well.

I didn't read anybody talking about McCoy though.
His passes were really on the mark, leading receivers, putting the ball on the right side of his receivers, etc. He even threw the ball away on a broken play in the red zone...he lived to fight another day & eventually scored.

The lucky bounce on the TD catch hit Roberts perfectly & should've been caught.

I like Jones at RB and I like that KC got the ball out quick and that he didn't wilt after the INT (oy!). D got going once SS and Flaco sat down. Smith was on a 300 yard pace...

It's about what I thought--we're not that bad and we're not that good. I think 6-10 or 7-9 with signs of improvement as we go is a great year. Seriously. Then another round of drafting and FAing with McC. Like that the D is looking stouter in the front, though the back looks familiar, I'm afraid. Ah, well. Rome wasn't built in a day.

PS I frigin hate Harbaugh and enjoyed seeing his whiney ass get chapped as the game went on. Go back and stay on your own fucking sideline, putz. You tell em, Jay!

I agree on all counts.

Our OLine and QB played there best . We had some young guys on Defense play well , Jeffcoat , P. Smith and Jarrett . As far as the fight , bad move by K. Robinson , he will likely get a nice fine from the NFL office .
