Nintendo reveals the 'Revolution'MTK 05-17-2005, 10:32 AM http://www.usatoday.com/tech/products/games/2005-05-17-revolution_x.htm skinsfanthru&thru 05-17-2005, 05:09 PM I think it's kind of funny that nintendo's always has been the one saying they wanted to make just gaming systems and now with the revolution, their kind of "selling out" just to keep up with the competition. The main thing I'm worried about with the revolution though is all the talk about some weird ass controller with no buttons and u have to squeeze and touch the controller to control the game. MTK 05-18-2005, 11:57 AM I heard the system will be totally backwards compatible, all the way back to the NES, and you'll be able to download all these old games to play them, probably for a fee of course. I think Nintendo has finally wised up and realized online is the future of gaming. They really swung and missed on the GameCube, great system but no online killed it. TheMalcolmConnection 05-18-2005, 01:41 PM Yeah, when I read about being able to download old games, the Revolution quickly shot up my list to MUST BUYS. TheMalcolmConnection 05-18-2005, 01:41 PM Playing some OLD SCHOOL Contra. Brilliant. Having ALL the Mario Bros. games on one system. It doesn't get any better than that. MTK 05-18-2005, 02:27 PM 3 words, Tecmo Super Bowl skinsfanthru&thru 05-18-2005, 04:42 PM tecmo bowl is coming to the x-box this fall 2. but yeah I can't wait to play Ghouls and Ghosts, Excite Bike, Karnov, TNMT, Double Dragon, and all thos other awesome old school nintendo games plus some supernintendo games like Sword of Mana. Plus it will also be the cheapest of the 3 new systems. MTK 05-18-2005, 06:51 PM Nintendo always puts out a solid system and I love their 1st party games. I'll be all over the Revolution, especially now with the thought of playing all those old school games. TheMalcolmConnection 05-18-2005, 07:27 PM So you get those through the internet? I think it would be sweet if they packaged all their NES gamse on a one or two disk set. I would buy that in a second. |
