Cursed franchise

I so agree.

I never thought Galette was bad I just know our luck and nothing like him will just fall to us without a some string attached.

I guess I can stay white.

If he disrupted the locker room or just played like ass, then I'd give you your due. You get no credit for the football gods striking his achilles with a random bolt of lightning.

I just knew something would happen. I figured his pec would tear again or the suspension would lengthy.

We all know this team, what good luck do we get? GOOSE EGG; everytime

dang, I was hoping if it was just a partial tear, he might be able to return this season but it seems a partial tear takes as long as full tear or rupture.

"Of the 31 players who sustained an Achilles tendon rupture, 21 (64%) returned to play in the NFL at an average of 11 months after injury. In the three seasons following their return, those 21 players saw significant decreases in games played and power ratings compared to the three seasons preceding the injury."

I hope you don't think Iwas picking on you. I just keep seeing you so exicited about this guy and Iwas thinking S10 knows better something will happen.

We are all like 9 year old orphans hoping our new parents show up. Nobody is adopting us so why generate false hope.

Not a bit. Even if you were, I can take it.

It's just that premier players at a select few premier positions don't hit the open market. QB, LT, pass rusher, WR. Teams don't let impact talent get away at those spots. The only way you come across them is drafting them.

So when we landed Galette I saw it as such a bonus, a potential MAJOR impact player at a position that doesn't grow on trees. It's the same with DeSean Jackson.

I wasn't looking at Galette to be the difference between 4-12 and 9-7, but he was a very important building block for the future. He represented a player we wouldn't have to address with a first rounder sometime in the next two seasons. Maybe he still can be, but I don't know how you sign him to a significant deal next offseason when there will be so many question marks about his first step coming back from this.
