You almost never hear or read about these kinds of stories:

That is impressive, he should be highly commended for doing that.

I think if T.O. knew that he didn't drag his second foot in the back of the endzone he would tell the officials he was out and the TD didn't count...That is definitely the type of guy he is...

I agree. I think Roddick is an idiot for doing that. That's not to say I dont respect the hell out of him for doing that. That is a very noble, and honest thing to do, and I respect him for doing somthing like that. But if that happened in football (say a Skin did that), or any sport for that matter, I'd be pissed. But I give it up to Roddick, that takes some guts.

I think it's very impressive what Roddick did and I don't want to take anything away from him but I do think that it's a bit easier to make a decision like that in a sport like tennis where you only have yourself to account for.
Suppose Shawn Springs intercepted an Eli Manning pass with the Giants driving and down by 3 with under 2 minutes to go. But then Springs were to argue that he actually trapped the pass that was ruled an interception? How would the other 52 players feel about his act of honesty?

Good point. The only person he is hurting is himself, so he is free to do whatever he wants. I still say nice job to him.
