The problem with that is we are back to the same old formula of...new coach. New coach wants new players. etc...etc.....
Consistency. You can't have it rotating coaches every 2 years.
If Jay can't cut it you have to move on. Same with RG3.

I'm not sure you'd consider RG3 a franchise QB after the last 2 years of ineptitude. at this point it's either he starts to get his stuff figured out or he's going to be riding the bench somewhere waiting for another chance.

SM picks the players now. I think he has a clear vision of the type of team he wants and the type of players he wants. As long as Scot is here, I don't think we need to worry about taking a step backwards due to a new coach wanting different types of players than the ones Scot already acquired in order to fit a significantly different system. That's because Scot would surely select a new coach whose philosophy meshes with his own and most of the current players would fit into any new system.
Consistency is meaningless with the wrong coach in charge. I wouldn't mind if Scot were to change HC's as necessary until he gets the right one to lead this team for the next ten or more years.
I think the key to our future success is keeping Scot and letting him determine the right HC coach for this team. Ideally, that coach will turn out to be Jay Gruden and we won't need to make a coaching change.

How long do you give someone before you decide they can't cut it though. That is the question

Clearly it's do or die for RG3 this year.
Jay will be in trouble if we don't see some real progress from the team and signs that he learned from his mistakes last year.

But the playcalling, game plan and coaching also played a role in his struggles.
How?

Yeah...sums it up. Everything else concerning rg3 and Jay is a waste of breath.
Good read

How?Are you asking specifically how Jay's/staff playcalling, gameplan and coaching impact Griffin's performance or general 'how'?
