NC_Skins 08-28-2015, 10:51 PM Let's just get it over with and cut him already.
It really is a fucking cluster fuck. How was he cleared to practice for the week, with RGIII not even knowing if he had a concussion. NOW, you have some doc saying to hold him out due to the concussion. Really? Really? This organization is a mickey mouse operation starting with Dan the Dumbass. Hopefully we'll get some secret video of him being a racist one day so he'll be forced to sell the franchise.
Ruhskins 08-28-2015, 10:52 PM Cousins job to lose now. If Griffin never plays again here consider it a good thing.
I didn't think he would last the season.
I guess the reason I'm not going all conspiracy theory is that this situation is reminding me of Jahvid Best's final seasons in the NFL and him retiring due to concussion issues. Specially since RG3 has had a previous history of concussion and the beating he took last week.
And if the team is trying to get rid of him, oh well. As I said before, moving on to the next QB.

The same doctor that ruled him fine changed his mind based on further analys, what does all of this have to do with your rant?
I just don't get the outrage.

I almost feel guilty with how GLAD I am to hear Cousins may/most likely WILL be the starter week 1.
I always liked RG3, but at this point, the saga needs to end.
And it's not me "giving up" on RG3 or anything like that. I'm simply done with the side-show. We can blame the media all we want but at the end of the day, Cousins doesn't generate that kind of drama. As a team in re-build mode we need to rid ourselves of any added issues.

I hope this doesn't happen, but there will be drama if KC starts firing of INTs.
DYoungJelly 08-28-2015, 11:11 PM It was the same thing about the Lions game with folks in the NFL.com and ESPN forums saying they thought that our line dogged the game to teach RG III a lesson. I posted that thought on the game thread and was asked if I was drunk or was accused of being a toxic presence. Some guys seemed livid, but I can't see any offensive line being destroyed like that with some jobs being on the line unless there was some collusion involved with said parties. Not everything is a conspiracy, but there might be something to that train of thought in this case.
Which guy was dogging it?
The guy trying to make the 53 (Smith)?
The guy who was brought in under a different GM and didn't thrill anyone last year and wants to stay past his current contract (Lavau)?
The guy who is undersized at his position and isn't the prototype the new GM is looking for (Lich)
The rookie who now somehow feels comfortable enough to teach the franchise QB a lesson after switching positions (Scherff)?
The guy who just broke into the starting lineup and was initially the second choice behind a Scherff/Long combo (Moses)?
I'm an idiot, but that's the dumbest idea I've ever heard if you're serious.
You've posted it twice now
Which one of the 5 intentionally let RG3 get hit?
skinsfan69 08-28-2015, 11:15 PM Does anyone think this has to do with what he said at his presser? Maybe the " I just work here" comment didn't go over too well with the folks in the front office.

Disorganization starts at the top. We've heard Smoot talk plenty of times about how fucked up the culture is at Redskins part, and it starts with lil Danny.
Yes, I'm with the majority of the people here that think it's very odd that he was cleared early this week, but not now. I'm with the conspiracy theories on this one. I think they want to see how Kirk does with the first string. This allows them to do so without taking a bunch of flak.

It could be. I can see McCloughan as a guy that doesn't take any crap like that.
I guess I have a hard time believing that an independent neurologist would come up with a bogus "he can't play anymore" to do the team's bidding.
If the team is finding a way to get rid of him, honestly I think that may be the best for the team and RG3.

Yes, but ever since McCloughan has come on board, he seems to be doing the right things and is in complete control of the team. And that's a lot of people in the sports media are saying that, not just a yahoo fan like me.
So I don't get why people seems to forget all of the good he has done and go back to the same old tired rant about the owner whenever there is a bump on the road.
