I think reality will set in once the real games start..

Reality isn't going to set in for him until he's cut and borderline out of the NFL. He will not get a starting gig on another team (not running a read option offense) playing like he does. That much is pretty much guaranteed. So with that in mind, the days of him having to actually earn that position is what is either going to humble him or cause him to fold like a cheap tent. Who knows, he may just continue to blame others to why his failure is happening instead of looking in the mirror and putting in the mental work that goes along with being a QB.

The whole thing is just dumb. Anyone who read or heard the entire clip knows exactly what he was saying.

That's a given. The only issue with it like I said is the "I'm the best QB on the team." That isn't going to sit well with teammates. I don't see how it's been 4 years and he still can't grasp how to talk to the media yet. Is it blown out of proportion? Absolutely, as will anything he says. Which is why it's so imperative that he really thinks about the words he's using.

Yeah, that was the explanation of his failures last year that kept coming up. I have not heard anything about what kind of work he was doing to improve in that way this year. Does anyone know or is there any reason to believe he has taken any of that criticism to heart, or made attempts to address that area of his skill set?

im a fully in the camp that thinks RG3 has brought a lot of his problems on himself on and off the field .... but i have no problem with what he said.

if you listen to the actual clip it is just generic pro athlete stuff.

if you are looking for further validation that this guy just doesnt get it and is uncoachable, you have more fodder for your fire.

30, whats you opinion of Scherff and Moses on the right so far? What I saw in camp...Moses was holding his own against the Houston playersIt was nice to see the RG not only hold his ground but move the line of scrimmage and effectively get to the second level.
On the whole they looked solid, much better then last year already (but then again I wondered why Moses wasn't playing RT last year).

Agree. An old PGA golf pro I took lessons from often told me that athletes at any level have to "create their own reality". RG3 is creating his own reality and I dont know why anyone would have a problem with that.

Problem is RG3's reality only exists in fantasy land. He is starting to appear delusional, you cannot help or coach someone who doesn't think they have a problem, plain and simple. Kind of like if you are running a business and have an employee who is lacking and needs improvement yet that employee thinks they
are the slickest thing since sliced bread and is smarter than the owner.

RG3 is saying things Tom Brady is too humble to say. Robert appears to
be intelligent, but some of the crap that comes out of his mouth makes you wonder.

We need to move on from this some people will never like RG3 for whatever reason. By all accounts he's putting in the work.
