I'm excited about all the multimedia additions and news reports on the site. Is this why they brought in Larry Michaels? Redskins.com sucked for a while and while it still falls short of competing whith some of the best NFL teams' (flash) sites, we now have an authority in team news. Alas. :oink:

I think redskins.com is programmed partly with flash as well. But I agree....the content is what it's all about.

Personally I'd rather leave flash out of it. Content is definitely what it's all about. I hate going to these sites and it is more like, "Look how good I am at Flash!" rather than actually giving me I-N-F-O-R-M-A-T-I-O-N.

Yeah. What gets me amped is watching those highlight videos that cpayne and others posted at the end of the season. I watch those daily.

Well its about time, the site was so weak before this upgrade. And anyway, it has to be kickass to make the Post look as useless as possible :boxing:

I agree 100% and that isn't just because I haven't learned how to do flash yet, lol! I've been on websites where you are forced to watch the flash intro and they don't bother to code a little bitty "Skip intro" link to the main page.

I think it's interesting that the Redskins are putting forth such a tremendous effort now to make their web presence the primary source for Redskins news.
It wasn't long ago that the Redskins practically scoffed at my suggestion that websites are the primary source for Redskins news, and that sites like the Warpath-- which act as clearinghouses for web-based articles-- are where modern fans go as sort of a "one-stop shop" for up-to-the-minute Redskins information.
I'm glad they're finally taking advantage of the power of the internet. I always thought it was so ironic that Dan Snyder's team was so far behind the curve in figuring out how to wield their website as the ultimate multimedia marketing weapon.
Beware, folks. The kool-aid man is surfing the broadband waves, and his kool-aid is "unfiltered".
