For me it was a toss up between Boldin and None of the above. But, I always liked Boldin even when he was in Florida State. So I voted for Boldin. Good size and speed, and he's young.
Worth It?Redskins_P 05-09-2005, 09:47 AM For me it was a toss up between Boldin and None of the above. But, I always liked Boldin even when he was in Florida State. So I voted for Boldin. I think at this point we keep Rod unless we can pick up a decent draft pick for him and one of our WR should emerge as a true number one WR. All of our current WR have some good potential and this unit could be one of surprise in the NFL. celts32 05-09-2005, 01:43 PM Other than TO, Walker is the only one of them that i think would come in here and be the #1 WR they are lacking from day 1. He would be worth it, but he is also way to expensive for the skins to acquire. The skins have no #1 pick to trade for him and they also don't have the cap room to meet his contract demands. dirtbag2112 05-09-2005, 02:08 PM I hate to say the 'P' word, but when Patten came from New England he said that all of thier WR's were #1 guys. I think we're kinda adapting to the same philosophy. I would rather have 4 solid guys than one standout WR and 3 hacks. SkinsRock 05-09-2005, 02:47 PM I voted "None of the above". As others have said, I believe we now have a solid WR corps and we should focus on developing them. But if I had to choose, I'd say either Walker or Boldin due to their strong performance the last couple years. They may be holding out, but at least they can keep their mouths shut most of the time....unlike one current and one ex-Eagle. Boston is basically the definition of "head-case". I don't know what anyone is thinking by choosing him. He was very good, but he will never get back to his previous form. VTSkins897 05-09-2005, 02:52 PM i said none of the above. we don't need other teams' overpaid scraps. aprius 05-09-2005, 03:59 PM i said none of the above. we don't need other teams' overpaid scraps. Boldin, Walker and TO are not scraps....they are excellent WR's. I voted Walker but I would take any of those in a heartbeat. Get a little stickum for TO and he will be enshrined in the HOF next year....LOL Heck they may bronze him! mooby 05-09-2005, 04:40 PM nah. next year people will be talking about taylor jacobs in the same breath as they talk about javon, t.o., and anquan. plus, think about it. if t.o. came to washington and had the same consequences as in philly, would we be better off? is it worth getting great stats, or having one good season then turning your back on a team? i say its not worth it, no matter if t.o. caught every single pass that came his way. jrocx69 05-09-2005, 05:16 PM Boldin, Walker and TO are not scraps....they are excellent WR's. I voted Walker but I would take any of those in a heartbeat. Get a little stickum for TO and he will be enshrined in the HOF next year....LOL Heck they may bronze him! TO is garbage and will probably (if somehow retained a HOF spot) would hold out of that too. he would be upset of picture and statue locations and file a grievience BossHog 05-09-2005, 05:30 PM Instead of signing Patten maybe, we should've pursued Walker. :oink: |
