It's not as easy saying Gardner wasn't dealt simply because the Skins wouldn't settle for less than a 3rd round pick, Gardner is looking for a contract extension as well and that definitely threw a wrench in the works.

Probably a smart move by Gardner when you think about it. He'll likely be released and then he can control where he goes.

It's tough to trade a middle of the road player especially when he only has 1 year left on his current deal, and on top of that the likelihood he'll be released outright is so great.

Other teams were willing to trade for Gardner, provided he would be willing to extend his deal. Gardner wants to let his deal play out, so he can sign a contract based on stats in an offense that (presumably) would showcase his 'talents" better than ours would. In other words, Gardner for 3 or 4 years is worth a third round pick, Gardner for one year is not.

Send him a small screen TV and sit at home....no seriously though, give him his walking papers and if there were bonuses that are suppose to be paid to him they should ask that he returned it.

i read somewhere that he had the nick name 50/50. to me that means throw him him the ball and there's a 50/50 chance he will catch it.just cut'em and move on this is a team, he's a playboy who plays around on week nights but not on sundays.
