T.O. there or not has on of the strongest off season work outs of all. People he works out with says its more than camp. Sure he should be there, but won't be the first time he hasn't been there or the last.
Does character count?skin4Life28 05-05-2005, 11:42 PM T.O. there or not has on of the strongest off season work outs of all. People he works out with says its more than camp. The other thing is it is going to be a LOOOOOOOng hold out for TO... FRPLG 05-05-2005, 11:48 PM FRPLG - it was a response to you. Remember how you said TO threw McNabb under the bus? I said at least he did it with something about McNabb's play. Not personal life. I guess you forget about the whole innocent until proven guilty thing our country has. It's really neat, see, Taylor didn't do anything wrong. Believe it or not guys, a majority of cops you meet are assholes, especially if you're a young, rich, black man. Especially when you think you can make a name for yourself busting Sean Taylor. The judge threw the case out in a second - let's try blaming the cop for falsely arresting Sean Taylor. So not only was he INNOCENT and Jansen brought it up, it's inappropriate. You don't put anyones personal life out there like that. That's not a good way to build team chemistry, and Jansen was in the wrong 100%. You think he should ever say "LaVar needs to come to camp, I know his cousin has cancer, but that's really not an excuse." How would you feel then? No matter the reason - leave personal stuff out of it. So I guess you missed the part where he skipped practice and got suspended due to the incident. To me that makes it not simply his "personal life" but also his professional life and therefore fair game. joecrisp 05-06-2005, 12:07 AM So the next time a player pulls some diva crap ON the field and you applaud/support or otherwise condone it; Don't bitch when they pull the same crap OFF the field. Bingo! Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner! :biggthump MTK 05-06-2005, 09:29 AM So I guess you missed the part where he skipped practice and got suspended due to the incident. But if we are honest even Joe Gibbs had his share of crazy guys.......as much as I love Riggo he was "unique", then there was tempermental Gary Clark, and the case of Dexter Manley....the difference is that although these guys were a little off the wall, they LOVED the game, and winning meant more to them then stats and being in the record book......that's the difference from yestertoday and today.......malcontents like Moss, Shockey, etc....you have the feeling their most important priority is collecting their pay check and to hell with their team and the game. |
