T-Will, Moses, Lichtenschleiger, Chester, Scherff.

I think the Lavauo experiment has run its course.

Chester????

Chester????

I don't care if Chester stays as a backup (I really wish they wouldn't keep him though... we have enough up and coming talent), but there is no way in all of the free world he should be starting for any NFL team ever. Ever. EVER again. Unless it was an absolute catastrophic emergency.

TW, Lauvao, Corey, Long, Sherff.

Kouandjio could be pushing Lauvao. He is a fourth round pick who fell because of injury concerns, he had the talent to go earlier. If his knees allow he might push early.

Last year, Lauvao never seemed to to push people back like his size would indicate he should. He did improve toward the end of the year though.

I keep reading articles and blogs (Keim's included) that unanimously don't think Moses should move to guard.

I don't know what isn't to like though. He is a truly massive man who didn't suck as bad as everyone thought he would when he was thrown in last year due to injury. He was a 3rd rounder who wasn't expected to contribute his rookie year at all.

Thoughts on 6'6" 330+ Moses pushing people at guard? I wouldn't think he would be worse than Lauvao.

Lauvao and Chester are on thin ice. They're days are numbered. Not sure why they even signed Lauvao in the first place.

Moses is built like a tackle. Not sure guard is where he should be.

How About Derrick Dockery? 6'6" 325lb guard.

Doc was the definition of average. Jacoby made the transition to LG very easily.

Or Alex Boone, Mike Iupati, Ramon Foster, Kyle Long, Geoff Schwartz, Matt Slauson. All these guys are 6'5 or 6'6", Boone is 6'8" and have played at a high level on the inside.

Not that uncommon.

Ok, Chester blows but not sure if Long is quite ready yet and I think Scot cuts bait with Lavaou.

Playing inside or tackle has nothing to do with height. And I'm a little lost on how folks think guard and tackle are just interchangeable positions. Moses isn't a guard because of height.
