Like J Tuck , he lines up at , End , DT and Nose ( at Miss St. ) . Not cat quick, but big 271 and strong .
Yup, thats what I meant. He isn't gonna play NT much in the NFL, but if you need a rush from that spot, he is big enough.

for bpa we do seem to be picking needs pretty heavily. maybe that's just how things have worked out, but so far we've filled the gaping hole at RT and orakpo's hole at OLB. 3rd might be RG or FS (or 3rd down back)?
That's because drafting BPA is a fantasy. It rarely happens in the first three rounds. This draft has proven that fact with need pick after need pick.

Someone on Twitter just made this observation about Smith's and Kerrigan's combines:
Ryan Kerrigan 6-4, 267 lbs
Vertical: 33.5
Bench reps: 31
Broad jump: 10'02"
20 yard shuttle: 4.39
3-cone: 7.18
40: 4.67
Preston Smith 6-5, 271 lbs
Vertical: 34
Bench reps: 24
Broad jump: 10'01"
20 yard shuttle: 4.28
3-cone: 7.07
40: 4.71
Wow identical...my initial thought was really wrong. Seems on tape he just doesn't seem like an olb, lacks speed and his body seems more as a leverage dline type. He just looked bigger on film, closer to 300 lbs. didn't know that small...I'm excited McC is all about the trenches. This team dynamic is gonna be a 180 on defense from the last 9-10 years

Or our BPA have been needs also.
Scherff was rated number 3 by Scot as far as BPA behind Cooper and Fowler, both gone, Scherff was the pick. I can only imagine that Smith was the same
BTW Smith reminds me a lot of Pernell McPhee, I think that could be his floor.

Is it driving anyone else crazy how far behind the broadcast is behind the actual picks? I get it's a TV event, but make it up between the rounds or something. I want picks as soon as the teams pull the trigger!
Irrefutable
