Looking at the roster make over so far, things appear to be going very well. McC has put his stamp already on the defensive personal and I expect us to do some things with the offense coming up in the draft (especially the O-line). But looking at the cuts and making room for additional players, I still look at some and say "hey, why the **** are you still in burgundy and gold?"
Give me a player who remains that you just want to say GTFO. RG3? Chester? DHall? Cousins? Luavo?
My guy is Tracy Porter, I mean I scoffed at this Bruce signing last year as a complete waste, so far I'm completely right. With the Culliver signing giving us a solid starter and McC stating he wants another CB on the roster...seriously T. Porter GTFO. Free up some cap space.

You're probably right on Porter, he probably won't make the roster. But unless you need the cap space to sign somebody else, there's no reason to jettison him now. Might as well bring him to camp and let him compete, who knows we may find D-Hall will never be the same, and all of a sudden might need Porter to be our #4 CB.
I don't expect that, but why rush the decision.
Same goes for every bum currently on the roster. We don't have an impact free agent about to sign imminently, so why make a move?
You might want to change the tone of this thread to focus on who has no prayer of making the roster.

meh, I dont think its that serious...you could say "hey im sick of watching the poor play of whomever...McC replace this guy"...doesnt have to be strictly financial. But yeah good point on D-Hall. change the tone...thats rich coming from Schneed ;)

Great thread...
Griffin. I just can't watch another year of him back peddling into sacks, holding the ball and throwing a 4 yard pass on 3rd and 8. I'd honestly rather have wet noodle arm McCoy back there or living with KC's turnovers. At least KC is capable of putting points on the board.
LeRib. What a terrible draft pick. Lazy fat sack of shit that doesn't even want to get himself in shape. Any other team he would have been cut.
Porter. Did he even play at all last year? That signing alone should have got Bruce fired.
Chester/Polumbus. I just call both of them roller skates.
Amerson. He can't cover his own shadow.
Roberts. Another terrible FA signing. Can't catch for shit and was useless in returns. I'd replace him with Lockett from Kansas State.
Hatcher. This is exactly why you don't sign free agents over 30. He had one good game against Jacksonville and was never seen again. Yeah I know he was hurt but you should have put that into the equation when you sign someone to big money over 30.
Bruce Allen. Other than organizing the homecoming stuff and doing contracts, dude is terrible at his job. "We're winning off the field!" ....Yeah right Bruce. Tell that shit to someone who cares.

Every single time I see this dude I think of Grimace from the McDonalds commercials or the McDonaldland old playground. Basically he reminds me of the fat village idiot who is purple.
Josh LeRibeus, GTFO!

I was somewhat surprised chester and/or porter was not cut at the beginning of FA.
Like schneed said, there is no immediate now for cap space so the better play is to keep them on the roster until a need for cap spaces arises (dumervil, d jax, many other TC cuts players).
Maybe Scot wants to give the new coachs a chance to see that they are working with before doing more cutting?
I do wonder when an extension for trent and kerrigan will be hammered out.
