Can't argue with that.
Some interesting stats...
Winslow - 13 games, 60 catches, 605 yards, 10.1 yard average, 1 TD
Cooley - 10 games, 62 catches, 732 yards, 11.8 yard average, 6 TDs
Just numbers of course.
Winslow definitly runs his mouth and acts like an idiot. But the guy dominated in college. Cooley wasnt making one handed catches in triple coverage to convert 4th and 26th... Hes a TE and was drafted 6th, and that says a lot. It really is a shame this happened becuase he could have been a great TE. Running your mouth doesnt make you a bad player, just an asshole. Its a shame when this happens to people, like Jason Williams for the Bulls. I would have rather had Winslow play and start this year, and then see if Cooley could put up better numbers. Becuase then we can say we got the stud safety, and just as productive of a TE in the 3rd round

i am fine and content with cooley. why waste a lot of money on k2 if cooley can get the same kind of production. cooley did a great job catching passes, if my memory serves me correct, he had six touchdown catches to lead the team. k2 isn't worth it because we got cooley a hell of a lot cheaper with the same productivity. riggo44 is absolutly right it sucks to be a brown right now because k2 could miss part of the season.

Keep in mind, you did say dominated in college. This is why our team is trying to look for character players and not just players with physical abilities. Professionalism demands both.

It never ceases to amaze me that teams don't learn this leason in the NFL. For example is anyone surprised about T.O.'s actions this year? How many Ricky Williams, Lawrence Phillips and Ryan Leafs does the NFL have to draft before they start looking as hard into character as they do 40 yard dash times. I say dump the wonderlic test and add some good psych tests and background checks.
Sounds like he could possibly miss the season and he may have to pay back part of his signing bonus.

In my mind, I had actually given him the benefit of the doubt that maybe he was actually practicing/ learning how to drive his bike, as he was in a parking lot. This story makes me realize that he's just an idiot.

If you watch the video from the surveillance camera, you can see he was acting really wild on it for a guy with little experience. There are skid marks all over the parking lot. The camera doesn't see the wreck itself just the moments before it. This kinda backs up the point it is not the motorcycle itself that is dangerous as much as a dangerous person on a motorcycle.

No doubt, and the kind of bike he was on was definitely too much for a beginner to handle.
