There's a link to the video of this on the front page as well. I liked his comments about his impression of Jason Campbell.

very nice. i hope c.r. gets inserted into the starting lineup after a couple of games so he has time to learn. i think he will be a great cornerback. i liked what he said about jason campbell and the deep ball. i hope next year we don't resign ramsey and we put campbell in the starting lineup. or if ramsey has a breakout season we could release brunell and make campbell the backup.

I really love Williams. He's so amazing...

I'm even more interested to see Campbell play now. I think he'll be a good player, he just wasn't a need.

I hope that this is Ramseys year though, I dont think Campbell will be set to play for a bit...let Ramsey devour someteams for awhile.

I've been impressed with Coach Williams since his arrival. If he sticks around and becomes our next head coach there will have to be a change in philosiphy on how to build a competitive team year in and year out. Disappointingly, that philosiphy, as it stands now, may be the reason he skates.

As far as the QB controversy goes, it's a win-win situation for us. Whether Ramsey has a breakout year or Campbell takes his spot, one of those guys should have good trade value. Brunell is a lock for another year or two though. :oink:

Such a classy guy. He seems to say all the right things. And not some scripted, double talk either. :oink:

How do you figure? He's already a part of the decision making process on personnel-according to Gibbs. And twice the past two years the Redskins have passed on the premiere big receiver (Winslow, Williams) in the draft to select two players who could immediately help Williams' D.

Absolutly! I believe from listening to Gibbs talk the last year that he has relied heavily on Williams evaluation of talent.

That's a great interview. I too, am definitely anxious to see Campbell this preseason to see what he can do.

Greg Williams is great, we are very lucky to have him. I do hope he will stay with us and take the reigns when Joe Gibbs calls it quits. I however think if our defense plays up to the level it did last year he is good as gone.

I think the most exciting thing for pre-season is definately going to be Campbell. Love to see this kid push Patrick. We already know Ramsey is physically tough. Now we will find out if he is as mentally tough.
