Extremely athletic, hopefully he'll pan out and be really good.

I'm all for him if he shows promise. It'd be great if we sneak in a raw, but potentially good player in with a cheap contract.

Definitely. I think bball players are diamonds in the rough.

One guy I think could make the transition is Reggie Love. He played for both the football and basketball teams at Duke, and went to Packers training camp last year (where he was in the last round of cuts). he was a four year letterman at WR, and at 6'4" 225 he'd need bulking up. He has good hands, though, and plays a physical style.

I'm liking the guys that are even taller. Just creating HUGE matchup problems based on height alone.

Troutman is a gamer, no doubt about it. However, I would have to see if he can handle blocking assignments against 300 lbs DE/DT. Also speed is an issue. Does anyone know what his 40 is...?

I know on the court he moves very fast from baseline to baseline, but open field sprints are whole different story. Still I'm very excited to hear that the Skins are going to give him a look.

Troutman would create mis-matchs for Dbacks & LB's if he's got what it takes. LB's would not be able to keep up with him & Dbacks would not be able to tackle him easily. Now that they've outlawed shoulder pad tackling he would be even harder to take down, since that was what smaller players were being taught to do against oversized WR/TE's.

If he can get to the endzone before the QB gets presured he could throw the ball at the cross bar of the goal post and let him out jump all the defenders. I like the fact that the Skins are trying to find talent in other areas of sports. Did he persue the skins or was he even looking to play football? Does anyone know how this came about?

Can he skate or hit a curve?

Can he skate or hit a curve? No but he can stand on his hands and throw the ball with his feet and hit 6 out of 10 three pointers.
