Makes sense, we will need a vet to back up Cousins
Redskins reportedly are not bringing back Colt McCoyChico23231 03-17-2015, 01:46 PM Makes sense, we will need a vet to back up Cousins Hog1 03-17-2015, 01:47 PM Tebow's back.........Colt's back......all is right with my world. Now if only Patrick Ra..... MTK 03-17-2015, 01:48 PM The savior is ba... Sorry nodded off there for a sec Alvin Walton 03-17-2015, 01:50 PM Makes sense, we will need a vet to back up Cousins Yep, we'll need another vet after the Griffin trade. :oink: sdskinsfan2001 03-17-2015, 02:17 PM We don't need both them as backups. Can we please trade Cousins for the highest pick we can get then draft a young QB in the later rounds that has some upside and wont threaten RGIII as starter this year? Having 1 guy doing that is enough. Don't want QB carousel all year. Hopefully RGIII starts all 16 and Colt is solid backup. Chico23231 03-17-2015, 02:22 PM We don't need both them as backups. Fixed it for you Lotus 03-17-2015, 02:24 PM Makes sense, we will need a vet to back up Cousins No offense my friend but reading that makes me want to hurt myself. I am back in the world of Rex and Beck. IMO we need a REAL starting QB, not just a prayer that someone will work out. Unfortunately this is looking like what is happening...not saying I agree with it at all...but remember McC has complete control of the roster. My personal opinion is giving RG3 and Cousins both opportunity to compete for the job this upcoming season...looks like this wont be the case. JoeRedskin 03-17-2015, 02:30 PM I just don't think the QB position is getting "fixed" this year. IMHO - Scot McC is seeing what JG can do with the materials at hand. If he makes progress, he gets another year and maybe a new QB (or maybe the QB position is resolved with the materials at hand). If no progress, despite all the other upgrades, then out goes JG and in comes Scot McC's coach (whomever that may be). Again, no quick fixes but rather patience and seeking a long term solution at all levels. Fan base is going to need to make some attitude adjustments on how to judge progress. If we go into the season with McCoy, Cousins, and RGIII as our QB's, you might as well pencil us in for 4-12 right now. We already know from experience that you can't win with that group. |
