Are there any REAL Redskin fan's left? Are you kidding me about Sean Taylor. He is the best safety in the league and next year he will will prove it more by going to the Pro Bowl. Why do you care what he is doing in the off season. He is a freak of nature on the field. Has he ever not played 110 percent on the field. Isnt that what we care about anyways? He was pulled over for a DUI and was found innocent. Give him a break!! He is akid and kids make mistakes in life but when he is on the field he is a MONSTER!!!!!!!!!Look in the mirror at yourselves and tell me you weren't doing stupid things at his age. The only difference is that he has more talent in his pinky finger than tou had in your whole body. An dlay off LaVar while you are at it. He is a TRUE REDSKIN!!! Would you be mad if your boss shafted you your salary? Let us all have faith in OUR SKINS and stop bitchin and whining!!!! Isnt that what most of you say that LaVar is doing. Let them play!!!

Honestly, I wouldn't be bitching about not getting that extra fleet of Hummers if I were Arrington. On the subject of Taylor, I don't hold anything against him for the DUI charge because I know I've done stupid things at my age. However, he IS one of the best safeties in the league, but that doesn't give him the right to act like a prima donna after one season.
We've all conceded that he got the short end of the stick on his contract, but that's exactly what it is. A contract. He has to play regardless of what it says. But to prevent from beating a dead and decomposing horse, you're making millions, get over it.

You're right he is going to be the best safty in the NFL, But he could call Coach Gibbs back when he leaves a message. He's getting paid enough to at least return a phone call.

I wouldnt call Taylor the best safety yet but he is the most exciting safety. He needs to get with the program honestly but he has time to show, I think with Lavar going on about his contract Taylor feels if he isnt renegotitated when his contract is up he will be gone. Learning from Lavar mister Redskins himself. I mean what would you think if you are a young kid and here is Lavar going on and on about his contract dispute you gonna feel like hey they not listneing to me that causes players to leave after contract is up if you want to be like you have a contract shut up then when contract is over I'm gone. dont wait til he makes the probowl to try to renegotiate they need to lock him down long term NOW!!!

Antothr thing about contracts is you got to use the 9th pick in the draft to replace Smoot then why not give him the extra 4 mil??? obviously he was worth it his departure caused you to use the 9th pick to get his replacement, and hope he can match his production not like you're getting somone you know is an upgrade you hoping he can stand pat with what Smoot did. That was boneheaded to me obviously Smoot was worth the price, what we gonna do? do Carlos the same way when his contract is up we will never fill our holes like that never improve just keep replacing what we got.

56 & 36 = BEASTS on the field. We had the #2 defense w/o Arrington playing most of the year, I think the defense will kick it up a notch this season.
But the offense, well that's another story...

No one who works their ass off at college to go get a decent paying job, or anyone who goes to work every day and makes about 70 grand a year wants to hear these guys or any other athletes bitch and moan when they are making that kinda money.

I wish they had some kind of point/player evaluation scale that was standard across the league when it came to contracts. That way people wouldn't have to worry about underpaying and overpaying.
