If Seattle was to let go of Lynch, he will come home to Oakland, CA

It is a joke that teddy won the ROY of OBJ. Wow

It's a meaningless fan award, not the official league award.

There's a reason they've been a consistently shitty team for years.

Can you believe that Mike McCarthy actually had the gall to fire his ST coach, after nine years of service? He even mentioned the guy's wife by name in the announcement and "wished them well" (while doing them wrong).

What he did was morally bankrupt IMO because McCarthy himself was the key contributor to the Packer's loss. For starters, when the Seahawks scored on the fake FG the GB FG unit shouldn't even have been on the field. McCarthy should have kept his defense in the game to guard against what happened. Also, anybody can muff the catch of an onside kick. That's not about coaching.

McCarthy failed to grasp that his team needed to put up more points in the first half. If he had, he would have gone for it at least on the second 4th and goal they had. The worst that could have happened would have been they would have had Seattle pinned on their own 1 yard line.

Then McCarthy shut down the GB passing game (featuring his MVP candidate QB) way too early and it cost his team dearly.

Of course, if anyone should have been fired, it was McCarthy. But his is the NFL and, for NFL coaches, designating scapegoats to keep their own jobs is a way of life.

Good job, Mike! That was NFL scapegoating at its finest. BTW, nice touch mentioning the guy's wife as if you give a damn about his family.

This has been a long time coming their ST was one of the if not the worst in the league. Not that McCarthy doesn't deserve some blame but the ST has been problematic all season.

Sorry dude, I totally thought your post was pure sarcasm after reading the first paragraph. What would the better option have been, to flip her the bird while he mentioned her? Unfortunately, I can believe that McCarthy was willing to fire his special teams coach after 9 seasons. It's a business. And you're absolutely right McCarthy would rather fire someone than put himself on the chopping block.

I still don't know why it took Tim Brown this long. All in all, that is a strong class.

Same reason it took Monk so long, always a logjam at WR.

How in the hell do Ron Wolf and Bill Polian get in before Beathard? Bethard's teams competed in 7 SB's winning 4. In case folks didn't know, he was with the Chiefs, the 70's Dolphins, Skins and Chargers.
