dang, thanks for the link. right on point.

i didnt know the seahawks invested high draft picks on the interior line. smart move. seems like you can find stud guards and centers in the late 1st to 3rd round. hope ours come into shape.

We have to bring in FAs, mostly.

Let's boil down our talent problem to it's essence: We have had incompetent upper management and a star-struck, over-involved owner for most of the last twenty years.

The Patriots are starting undrafted free agents on their line.

That indicates to me they still picked their own OL, not go through retreads like we did.

Sorry. Missed where you mentioned retreads in your post.

Free agency is ok as long as they are undrafted free agents?

I don't understand you position.

They signed Blount as a free agent midway through the season. Revis is ballin this year. The Pats use free agency rather than get used by free agency. We are the opposite.

Free agency isn't bad, the good teams find value rather than overpay for past performance.

Watching 2012 highlight packages is depressing... But its the type of passion these coaches need to coax out of the players this year... Hopefully its a quick learning curve for our guys.

Yeah, Im mean we probably have bottom third of the league Oline. Seattle has a fairly average Oline, a top ten RB (maybe top 5), and bottom 5 receiving corp....but Wilson is average (yeah right)

Maybe top 5 RB? Seriously? Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse, Paul Richardson before he got hurt was not a slouch, and the most elite defense we have seen since the 2000 Ravens and 2002 Bucs.

Russell Wilson is an above average QB on an elite team, and don't downplay the Seahawks O-Line.

Russell Wilson is not an elite QB, he has basically single handedly given the last 2 NFC Championship games away. Luckily for him the 49ers and Packers gave it right back.

Lynch no 4 in rushing yards this year, and no 1 rushing tds. Leading the post season in rushing year this and last year.
Easy arguement for top 5.
Yes their top 3 receivers in the bottom 3rd of league and they don't have a TE either.
