It's funny Morris is not good enough for skins fans, yet he is good enough for Dan Quinn as a senior assistant.
In the NFL coaching circles, one man's trash is always another man's treasure...
Much like QBs, I think fans tend to give coaches way too much credit and too much blame. Morris is a good coach who obviously will have no problem landing on his feet after his time here.

This. Outside of of the random coach who "loses" his players with poor leadership I think the effect of coaching (especially position coaches) is pretty overrated at the pro level.

Kind of funny that Kyle and Raheem may be reunited down in Atlanta. Wish them both well

Agree with all of the above. No one here, except people in the locker room (and probably SmootSmack) -- really knows who was at fault for the horrible defenses we've recently seen. Lack of Talent? Haslett being too complex? Morris not coaching/developing players?
It's just simply that this organization has consistently made the WRONG decisions over the past 20 years, which is why it's natural to question the hiring of Barry (ie. the worst NFL D-Coordinator in the last decade) and questioning the merits of reincarnating an unsuccessful Tampa Bay organization from 10 years ago.. Barry's last DC stint may have failed due to their lack of talent, but this one will be *completely different* because somehow we currently have TONS of talent on our defense.
As has been said, I'll buy in, wait & see. I'm hoping McC drafts 7 ProBowlers, I'm hoping GRiffin becomes RG3 again, and I'm hoping there's some clever addition by subtraction..
And maybe -- we should just start cheating like the Patriots, it works and is better than talking about the draft this time of year every year..
All I know is Ryan Clark said the schemes at times last year were "dumbed down" to the point of almost being high school. I mean if players can't execute basic concepts such as a cover 2, you've got big problems.

New Redskins GM Scot McCloughan is attempting to add Packers senior personnel executive Alonzo Highsmith to his front office.

Truth.
Which is why I didn't think having Fangio rolling up into here was going to amount to much. That said, I still wanted any part of that defense from Mike's regime gone. Coaches have to be accountable as well.

I agree on coaches getting to much credit or blame. With QB's I believe they control it all. Give us Brady and we are a contender next year.

Not even close. The biggest myth perpetuated by fans is that Tom somehow carries the Patriots. Belichick has surrounded Tom with very good talent his whole career.
Here is what a Patriots fan answered when this question was asked:
Q: What is a pet peeve you have about your favorite team that fellow fans tend to ignore/support?
A: Fans who don't understand that Belichick has surrounded Brady with very talented teams.

Neither Brady, Rodgers, Luck, nor Manning would make this team a contender.
