So beast mode was bottle up saturday night outside that second half run...Wilson didnt lead the offense?
The arguement Wilson is a system qb, not good passer, cant carry the team, etc...is stale. Wilson is one of the best QB in the league, certainly top 10.
Defenses still have to pay attention to beast mode when he is on the field, and the oline and playcalling are superb. What Luck does with the Colts is amazing, what Wilson does with the Seahawks is expected.

I tell ya...yesterday I just felt so bad for Peyton. That was tough to watch...and it had nothing to do with his previous playoff record. He was seriously struggling to get the ball down field. Sux to watch a guy like that regress
I agree. Maybe they should use him less at the beginning of the season and save his energy for the back half of the season.
You can tell that his arm strength wasn't there yesterday for whatever reason.
edit: Now we know why his strength wasn't there. Torn quad muscle.

Peyton Manning of Denver Broncos played with a torn right quad for the last month of the season - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2014/story/_/id/12154238/peyton-manning-denver-broncos-played-torn-right-quad-last-month-season)
so why wasnt this on the injury report?
That would explain everything, and that's a damn good point. Why in the fuck wasn't this on the report?
edit: Just checked. He was on the injury reports the since the Chargers game listed as "probable-thigh"
@AdamSchefter
Peyton Manning initially tore his right quad Dec. 14 in win over Chargers, per sources. MRI back in Denver confirmed tear.
Jay Glazer says Peyton had injuries to both quads.

Manning had a season for the ages last year. At his age and with the injuries he probably should retire (probably) but anybody who thinks he just "lost it" overnight is crazy. When healthy he is the man.

Lol
He was reaching for the endzone. No doubt. Its poetic justice though. They won on a bad call and lost on a bad call. Perfect.

That does not matter at all. Even if he had reached across the goal line, he still did not maintain possession through the act of hitting the ground, so it would have been an incomplete pass, not a touchdown. What he was "reaching for" has no bearing at all.
Good call according to current rules.

He only threw the ball 22 times, chill out. Wilson is good, but I would never put him ahead of Luck.
And no, Wilson cannot carry a team, because he doesn't have to. And that will continue to be the case until Seattle's defense is no longer elite.

Supposedly this picture was taken when the Dez catch call was reversed.
Note Christies face, upper right.
Note little girls face, lower.
