2015 Draft Prospects... First Edition

No surprise if Jameis is taken #1...whether its tampa bay or someone else at #1.

Editing my previous statement: Good news because teams with QB needs will hopefully want to trade up to #5. That's it.

That, and at least two of the four teams ahead of us might be looking at drafting a QB, leaving more options for us.

IMO Winston's windup throwing motion alone knocks him out of the top ten at least and maybe the top 20. Just like Tebow's mechanics caused him to slide.

It looks like 7 offensive tackles in the first round ..... I trade down and take one. The mock drafts vary widely, for example Ronnie Stanley is a late first in the CBS mock, and top 5 in other draft forecasts.

I like the TE from Notre Dame in the 3rd or 4th if he lasts that long.

Love this guy. I've watched this guy for a few years now. He's very talented. The problem with him is that he's not RT. I think he's more of a OG. At the position there is a abundance of talent that will be available early in the second round.

One way or the other one thing I think we really need to focus on in the next two drafts is improving in the trenches on both sides of the ball. We need to start putting high picks on that defensive front and offensive line. If we can run the ball and get after the passer constantly we'll be a playoff team. If not we're going to keep having these up and down seasons.
