Everyone is an idiot. Rivers is nowhere near done

you remember that season though...2012? First year Norv was gone I believe? Lot of those talking heads on tv and radio

Like I said, its concerning San Diego is willing to move on to say a project QB as is Mariota.

Lastly, if San Diego 1st round pick is not in the deal, then absolutly no way.

When was the SD first round pick not in the deal? The rumor is that SD is offering Rivers and their first round pick for a top 5 pick. Or, did you mean their 2016 first round pick, as well?

Im saying this year first round pick is a must, anything less is a non negotiable.

First, I don't think it's going to happen. A) I have not heard that the Redskins are even interested and B) Why would he not want to move 1 hour to LA, yet he's fine moving cross country to DC?

But if he is unhappy at the prospect of moving to LA? Then yeah if I'm the Chargers I think maybe I can move him instead of just losing him and we can pick up a young franchise guy like Mariota, a Pac 12 guy from Hawaii so he'll obviously have a large following out west, particulary LA, and make him the cornerstone for our "new" franchise in Los Angeles.

And If I'm the Redskins I've got a veteran QB who hasn't missed a game in 9 years (I think), hasn't thrown for less than 25 TDs in the past 7 seasons. And I get a 1st round pick at least. Plus, I can now comfortably shop either RG3 or Kirk (it won't be Kirk) and accumulate more assets. And maybe with one of those I draft a young QB. And thank you Colt, but I don't really need your services anymore if I can get Rivers, Kirk, and a rookie QB

To your B point, isnt that crazy? I heard McLovin on DP show say the samething of Rivers not wanting to move to LA...its tough to believe. Good point of Mariota being a Pac 12 guy....but I really dont think he is that good. To me, making a move for Winston makes more sense.

Getting the 1st round pick with Rivers makes the difference...cause Im not about this life of trading 3 first round picks in the last 5 years.

To me, if this is the rumor, then the Titans makes so much more sense.

Also heard Brees is being shopped to move up in the draft as well. Lotta smoke out there, but interesting with all these big names.

I don't know why the "it won't be Kirk comment made me laugh so hard

You must have misunderstood something along the way. They already offered their 1st round pick along with Rivers, according to the rumor. They certainly can't get away with backing off of that and trying to pay less, if that's what you're thinking they might try to do.

Nobody said that the Chargers wanted a top 5 pick so they could draft a QB. It's possible that they just don't want to lose Rivers without getting something for him and they feel that they can get an outstanding player in the top 5.

I'm not sure that Tenn necessarily factors into this rumored attempt to trade Rivers. I keep thinking back to another rumor I read about where Chip Kelly wanted to move up to get the #2 pick using Foles as bait. According to that rumor, Tenn told Chip to go get Bradford and then they would talk to him about trading the #2 pick. For all we know, Philly and Tenn could already have a handshake deal.

My point is that both of these rumored trades could go down on or before draft day.

So you're pretty confident we jettison RG3 this year?
