Gregory was reportedly 218 at some point last season- can you name a good NFL OLB that weighs 235 ?

According to ESPN article (link below) Lawrence Taylor as a rookie with Giants was 6-foot-3, 237-pound.
I think you are making a big deal about a number.

You would think a guy that's 6'5 would be at least 250. That's a shocker right there.

This makes me very happy...

"What I’m trying to change is our kind of way that we’re not looking for the height, weight or speed guys, we’re looking for football players. We want guys who are consistent, guys who are passionate, very competitive, tough and smart. It’s not always the best athletes that way, but I want them to realize, just because a guy can’t run a 4.4 40-yard [dash], doesn’t mean he can’t play wide receiver or running back. All the sudden you have an offensive lineman who measures 6’2 1/2” when the league average is 6’4”, I could care less about that. Let me know about a football player and we’ll go from there because that’s what’s going to help me on Sundays."

...always thought this was the way to acquire players. :)

and none of them had more than 2 or 3 sacks.... they are not 6'5" either

3 things:

You didn't ask anything about sacks
You didn't say anything about height
Why do height/weight measurements mean so much to you?

So glad SM is in the building. He's going to get some starters out of this draft.

at least the skins have one adult in the building. that said, at some point, i'd like to see result (like a team that doesn't reek of dumpster fire).

I know no one is crazy about drafting a S in the first round. But I watched an interview with Landon Collins from Alabama and the dude is a ST idolater. Wore his number, wants to be as good as him and is dying to play for the Skins.

I don't think the Redskins have met with him. But I can't help but like the guy.

The problem is he is a in the box safety, which h we do not need.

Aw, lame.

I'm sure he'll be great somewhere though.
