The first 4 years I was on dans jock. Now I hate the dudeYeah. 1999 was awesome. 2000 was such a big disappointment. Since then, only Gibbs 2.0 and 2012 have been any good.

This should have already been line up on a card like on draft day. Jim Haslett- pink slip Raheem Morris - pink slip Chris Foester- pink slip Scott Campbell- pink slip Bruce Allen- you can stay but no more GM duties or football related decisions People keep talking about that option but it is completely untenable. Bruce is just going to renounce being the grand poobah of personnel to worry about things like parking spaces alone? Name one other person in NFL history (who wasn't angling for retirement) who had control over personnel and then voluntarily stepped back to worry only about printing tickets and things like that. We're all in on Bruce. Either he is our personnel leader or he is no longer at Redskins Park. There is no middle ground. There is no middle ground. It was said that when Bruce came, he would be the numbers guy, Shanny would run the other football stuff. Let's go back to that. NC_Skins 12-30-2014, 11:22 PM It's because we don't know wtf we r doing as an organization bro. I'm starting to think if Haslett stays past this week he'll be on the staff If you saw the post I made on the "everything Gruden thread", you'll see it's a huge possibility of that happening. Dan can pull those duties away, but if Bruce's presence is a problem for the next GM, I say get rid of Bruce's ass too. Dan can pull those duties away, but if Bruce's presence is a problem for the next GM, I say get rid of Bruce's ass too. That's it. It inevitably WILL be a problem. Analogy: you can't demote a McDonald's manager to making french fries alone. First, the demoted manager who has self-respect will not tolerate it. Second, even if they tried, the simultaneous presence of the current manager and the former manager would make for factionalism, bad blood, and dysfunction. Either Bruce is our personnel leader or he is out the door, there is no middle ground. SFREDSKIN 12-30-2014, 11:45 PM If Haslett is retained fans should boycott and protest at games, maybe Dan will hear it then. Brody81 12-31-2014, 01:00 AM Is this really happening?? I can't believe retaining Hascrap is a possibility.. That was 100% Casserly's team. Snyder didn't take over until that summer when the team was already put together. IrMitchell 12-31-2014, 11:19 AM Oh look, Haslett's gone ;) Chico23231 12-31-2014, 12:04 PM CSN Bay Area reports the 49ers spoke with ex-Redskins coach Mike Shanahan on Tuesday. Shanahan didn't have a formal interview, and it's unclear what the discussion was about, but we assume it's in regards to the team's head-coaching vacancy. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported on Tuesday that Mike's son, Browns OC Kyle Shanahan, is also on the 49ers' list. Shanahan took the 2014 season off after compiling a 24-40 record in four seasons with the Redskins from 2010-2013. He coached in San Francisco from 1992-1994 as the 49ers' offensive coordinator per rotoworld rooting against this guy |
