I can't believe teams are passing up on Jason White. Yeah he has had his share of injuries but shit happens. I'd take him because any QB that throws 40 TDs in a season deserves to get drafted.

Here are a few guys I saw didnt get drafted that I think wouldnt hurt to give a shot. I cant believe these guys didnt get drafted.

Adam Bergen
Position: TE
School: Lehigh
Ht., Wt.: 6-4.5, 265
40 Time: 4.9

BIO: Three-year starter awarded All-Conference and All-America honors the past two seasons. Finished his senior season with 54/634/8 after career numbers of 70/840/6 the prior year.

POSITIVES: Ultra-productive pass catching tight end that displays ability as a blocker. Offers the quarterback an imposing target, extends and looks the pass into his hands. Makes the reception in stride effectively using his frame to box out opponents. Works routes, stays low on exit and positions himself to make the catch. Displays terrific concentration and creates a lot of mismatches. Runs well laterally and tough running after the reception. Can shuffle his feet in pass protection, stays square and is always looking to hit someone. Immediately gets out on the second level and removes linebackers from the play. Attacks blocking assignments.

NEGATIVES: Not a tight end who makes a lot of plays into the defensive secondary. Stiff, gathers into routes and seemingly has difficulty adjusting to the errant throw. Does a bit of double catching at times. Must improve the strength of his base.

ANALYSIS: Ultra-productive on the small-school level, Bergen possesses the size/speed numbers to develop into a complete tight end in the NFL. Must improve his overall blocking skills, yet is a solid, middle round selection who could eventually start at the next level.

Jonathan Clinkscale
Position: OG
Class: Sr
School: Wisconsin
Ht., Wt.: 6-2.5, 315
40 Time: 5.54

BIO: Four-year starter at right guard who also saw action at center as a freshman. All-Conference selection last year.

POSITIVES: Nice-sized lineman who flashes the ability to dominate opponents. Naturally strong, stays square and keeps opponents away from the action. Alert picking up stunts or twists thrown by defenders. Can slide laterally in space, quickly gets his hands up and blocks with leverage throughout the action. Turns defenders off the line, anchors at the point or walls opponents from the play with good body positioning. Blocks down on opponents or easily rides them from their angle of attack. Quick to the second level engaging linebackers and also effective kicking out.

NEGATIVES: Lacks adjustment, does not play with balance and must make better use of blocking angles. Does not always attack assignments or play with great intensity.

ANALYSIS: Naturally gifted, Clinkscale is incredibly effective when focused on the task at hand. Could develop into a starter at the next level if he pays attention to detail, properly conditions himself and plays with consistent effort.

=============
Michael Munoz
Position: OT
Class: Sr
School: Tennessee
Ht., Wt.: 6-5.5, 306
40 Time: 5.28

BIO: Four-year starter named All-America last season. Missed the .01 season after knee surgery and had shoulder surgery last December. Used at both left and right tackle. Son of former Bengal Anthony Munoz

POSITIVES: Big-bodied, position blocker with a good feel for the game. Works to bend his knees, plays with forward lean and adequate leverage. Immediately gets his hands into opponents, easily turning them off the line or engulfing them at the point of attack. Plays with a nasty attitude, yet is quick in his head and works well with teammates. Anchors in pass protection and opens holes for the running game. Explosive at the point and stays with blocks until the whistle blows.

NEGATIVES: Not light on his feet, overextends and lacks top blocking range. Stiff and does not block with good balance. Durability issues in the past included a shoulder injury most recently.

ANALYSIS: A technically sound lineman who combines good size and football intelligence, Munoz is best in a small area. Has limited potential on the left side, though he could surprise in a zone-blocking scheme.

=============
Jim Davis
Position: DE
Class: Sr
School: Virginia Tech
Ht., Wt.: 6-3.5, 277
40 Time: 5.11

BIO: Second team All-Conference choice as a senior after posting 28/12/5. Missed the entire 2003 season following surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle. Started six games as a true junior and registered 37/9/5.

POSITIVES: Athletic defensive lineman effective stopping the run or rushing the passer. Explodes off the snap with a quick first step, plays low with leverage and holds his ground against double teams. Fast off the edge when placed at end and fluid making plays up and down the line of scrimmage. Displays footwork moving laterally, immediately alters his angle of attack or redirects to ballcarriers. Gets pushed up the field and exploits immobile blockers.

NEGATIVES: Undersized for tackle and engulfed at the point. Struggles getting off blocks if he does not beat opponents with the first move.

ANALYSIS: A lineman that has flashed ability throughout college, Davis had his career slowed by injury. Possesses plenty of upside potential for the next level, and capped off a good campaign in 2004 with a terrific Senior Bowl. The arrow is pointing up and has possibilities at defensive tackle or as two-gap lineman.

Adrian Awasom
Position: DE
Class: Sr
School: North Texas
Ht., Wt.: 6-4, 279
40 Time: 5.04

BIO: Three-year starter awarded All-Conference honors since his sophomore campaign. Posted 52/13/6 as a senior after 44/7/4 the prior year.

POSITIVES: Athletic prospect who plays bigger than his listed size. Keeps his pads low to the ground, gets leverage on opponents and immediately alters his angle of attack. Stays with the action, strings plays laterally and tough to knock off his feet. Doubled by opponents yet holds his ground against blocks. Works his hands nicely, chases around the field to get involved in the action and wraps up opposing ball handlers. Plays with a nasty attitude and gets a good amount of momentum going up the field.

NEGATIVES: Not quick or explosive off the snap and lacks speed to the flanks. Lacks bulk and slow getting off blocks. Not as productive as scouts would have hoped and labeled as a bit of an underachiever.

ANALYSIS: A potential two-gap lineman who could also be used at the left defensive end position, Awasom possesses good upside for the next level. Plays a priority position and should be selected in the middle rounds yet must pick up the intensity to have any shot of sticking at the next level.

=============
Brandon Browner
Position: CB
Class: So
School: Oregon St.
Ht., Wt.: 6-3.5, 215
40 Time: 4.69

BIO: Two-year starter and second team All-Conference choice as a sophomore last season after 44 tackles and 9 pass breakups. PAC-10 Freshman of the Year in 2003 after posting 43/6/6.

POSITIVES: Well-sized, shut-down cornerback with good upside for the next level. Solid backpedaling in reverse, flips his hips in transition and displays a burst of closing speed. Effective in man-to-man coverage and has opposing quarterbacks looking away from him. Reads the receivers. eyes, gets his head back around, and makes plays on the ball. Quickly plants, then breaks on the throw. Gets vertical and adjusts to knock away the pass. Effectively uses his large frame to box out opponents. Explosive run defender who flashes on the scene and looks to deliver the knockout throw. Defeats blocks on his way to the ballcarrier.

NEGATIVES: More of a long strider with built-up speed rather than a quick, sudden defender. Gets turned, not the most instinctive player, and at times does a lot of chasing. Marginally effective backed off the line of scrimmage. Often flagged for pass interference. Times poorly at the combine.

ANALYSIS: A defensive back with outstanding size and strength, Browner is perfectly suited to play press coverage at the next level and also has possibilities at safety. Possesses a lot of upside potential and has the skills to be a shut-down cornerback in the NFL, but far from the finished product -- needs time to develop his overall game and will only be effective in certain systems.

Completely agree with all of those. I would add George Gause DE south carolina and Derick Wake OLB PSU to that list. I know I am partial to the Nittany Lions but Wake will be a monster on special teams, he blocks kicks like I have never seen, an amazing athlete.

greg williams told gibbs NOT to draft DEs around the 6th round i think, so that it'd be easier to recruit them as undrafted free agents for tryouts, maybe they thought the same thing for TEs and OGs and decided to only work on two needs (FB/short yardage and ILB) and take multiple shots while leaving the door open for udfa's to come in and have a real shot...

not many OG's were drafted and blocking TEs really don't get drafted high at all, so hopefully we've set ourselves up alright (gibbs said they have between 30-50 udfa's coming in... 50!?!?)

I know I was one of a few people hoping Davis would be among those invited and signing up to take part in the skins mini camp but I guess not. Hopefully the depth on the line in Jacksonville will maybe allow the skins to try and pick him up later this year. plus I think it's kind of funny that the guy trying to get get out of Michael Vick's shadow and end the comparisions between himself and vick(Bryan Randall) winds up signing up to try out with the Falcons.
