Hey folks, most intelligent people knew holding on to Haslett after last year was a tragic mistake and after another year of a burning heap of garbage we certainly will be looking for new guy this offseason. So tell me who would you like and who we should be watching during our favorite time of the year, the offseason.

Anybody from the current staff?

My dream scenario is when Harbaugh is shown the door in San Fran, that we would back up a ton of money and give Vic Fangio complete control of the defensive side of the ball.

Other names I would look at would be Wade Phillips and Kevin Coyle (if that Dolphins staff is let go).

My second dream hire would be Rex Ryan, but I believe he will be back at HC rather quickly.

Paul Guenther is a name that will be in the mix, kinda unsure about him.

Thoughts?

Hey I found a quote this morning that pissed me off and inspired this thread. From our boy Baccardi Rambo when asked big difference between Skins and Bills staff: "(Bills)Coaches require you to watch film"

sigh

sighHoly crap. It's little offhand comments like that, and Cooley's comments about pulling into Redskins Park during the week and nobody being there.

This team is looking more and more like a joke. And I don't think it started with Gruden, or Shanahan. I think it's been going on a long time.

My wish would be Todd Bowles ( he's going nowhere unless is HC)

My realistic DC if/when he gets fired is Ron Rivera

Alternate DC Ray Horton or Brian Baker

Shouldn't have to be a requirement really. It's like a professor requiring students to study their textbooks.

Rambo sucks. He got two picks and the entire Redskin fanbase thinks he's something special all of a sudden.? If he has to stay on the field for any length of time, he's going to get exposed.

Also why didn't he watch film on his own time? It shouldn't be a requirement. If you're a pro and take your job seriously then you should already watch film. Obviously he didn't.

There will be plenty of capable DC's available. Problem is until the talent issue is addressed it won't make much of a difference who's calling the plays.

Reminds me of Chris Horton when he was here. 2 picks in one game as a rook and he lived off that rep for years.

you would think...but. I know I was the type, like many I knew, who studied their text when they absolutely had too

Film study should be hibitual for professionals, but for young guys(say less than 3-4 years) then I think a requirement is a good way to mold a player.

Proof is in the pudding, Buffalo defense is flat ballin this season
