No thank you. Coaching and playing the game are two completely different things.

Knowledge is key....I can name a list of players who became coordinators. Dennis Thurman, Todd Bowles, Ritchie Petibon, Jack Pardee, Dan Reeves, Don Shula, Mike Ditka. London Fletcher would make a very good defensive coordinator....

Joe Gibbs HATES Buddy Ryan. If you don't believe me read this:

Everyone's been calling for Rex but we don't need anymore drama here.

What does Gibbs have to do with Rex Ryan? I think sometimes we get a lil bit too much nostaligic with the glory days. Rex is his own man. Of course it would be a longest of long shots of just settling for the DC job here, but he is a well established strong defensive minded coach.

Jim Tomsula? He's been in San Fran a few years now, and it could be the right time for him to leave what with the Harbaugh situation playing out the way it is. He's also 100% as a HC if it counts for anything! :)

Ken Norton Jnr would be my other consideration.

If Harbaugh goes to Michigan, then I think we should raid the 49ers for Vic Fangio.

We could promise him the HC Position once Gruden leaves.

We were able to get him for Gibbs 2.0 by convincing him he would be the HC after Gibbs retired.
Unfortunately Snyder botched that and he went in another direction.

Snyder stabbed him in the back. no way he comes back.
