Alvin Walton 01-29-2015, 07:34 PM Healthy ankles dont make you read a defense better. punch it in 01-29-2015, 07:36 PM Healthy ankles dont make you read a defense better. Lol. He needs to just stfu. Chico23231 01-29-2015, 07:45 PM Redskins’ RGIII says he wasn’t healthy last season and ‘it sucked’ - The Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/dc-sports-bog/wp/2015/01/29/redskins-rgiii-says-he-wasnt-healthy-last-season-and-it-sucked/) “Last year I wasn’t healthy, and it sucked, so there’s no other way to say it other than that,” Griffin said. “When you dislocate your ankle in the second week of the season, when you and your team have big things in mind. It’s just getting healthy, getting the mental break getting a chance to spend time with family, and then formulate my plan going forward for this year and we can go out there and win games and be playing at this time next year.” “And that didn’t happen when I got back out there, and coach made a decision. And that’s an unfortunate decision, and something we all had to go with because that was coach’s choice." "I think it just comes with the organizational support that [Brady and Wilson] have as well to be the players that they are, to understand that this is our guy no matter what. I think the [NFC Championship] game with the Packers shows that more than anything. When a guy goes out there and throws four interceptions and then leads them to a victory, I think that guy knows in the back of his head that his entire team has his back, and the entire organization has his back. And I think that’s important, and I think it’s been the same way for Tom Brady." Still not accepting any responsibilty for his own poor play. Injuries, coaches, organization but not RGIII. :puke: Utter crap. Game tape don't lie when u miss receivers running free, wrong drops away from center, and misreading defenses... punch it in 01-29-2015, 08:01 PM Besides the excuses he should never ever ever even remotely hint at the fact that he might be anything like Tom Brady. MTK 01-29-2015, 08:07 PM He does make some valid points but I know, he's not allowed to talk for some reason. MTK 01-29-2015, 08:11 PM Besides the excuses he should never ever ever even remotely hint at the fact that he might be anything like Tom Brady. He was asked about what he can learn from watching Brady and Wilson. NYCskinfan82 01-29-2015, 08:14 PM We live in a new generation, they talk alot now theres so many outlets for them to do that. I have no problem with them talking, I have more of a problem with the media twisting there words to suit there purpose. Alvin Walton 01-29-2015, 08:27 PM He does make some valid points but I know, he's not allowed to talk for some reason. He can talk after he takes us to the playoffs two years in a row. Until then hes highly suspect as a bust. We want wins, not coulda woulda shoulda stuff. Injuries, coaches, organization but not RGIII. :puke: That's the vibe that I got, too. However, toward the end of the season he did show signs of at least trying to listen to others. Maybe the mental clouds still can break. skinsfan69 01-29-2015, 09:04 PM Right now, I have very little faith in Griffin. He just doesn't seem to have the instincts to play the position at a high level. Then factor in the injuries. But even before he got hurt last year, the coaches had very little belief that he could run the offense. Hope he proves me wrong, but time is running out. |
