Exactly.. Winning solves everything. I think Colt can win a lot of games for us if we focus on the O-Line and a Safety in the offseason. I would even trade Garcon and try to get a 2nd-3rd for him.

Maybe grab a Late round QB if one is available or bring in Bradford for competition in the offseason.

I dont want to trade Garcon. Dude had an off year, but he is also a proven commodity one year removed from leading the league in receptions. He takes heat off of D-jax when he is on the field. If we can adress the oline and pass pro, plus get a steady qb going, than I still think they can be a two headed monster.
Need to adress the oline and db's - especially safety and nothing else this time around.

Problem with Garcon is teams are jamming him on the line and it seems he's struggling to get off the line.

I think Colt can be that steady QB. This will be his consecutive week running the offense. Let's see if he starts off faster with more comfort. Might even find Garcon more.

I agree about Colt. Its hard to look past what he has done. I havent completely given up on Cousins either. He has the arm strength, and has shown such great potential. Eagles, Jags, even in 2012. He just needs to slow down and think alittle. That I believe is something that can be fixed.
Garcon might have a case of the "why should i care if nobody else does" going on. Im thinking if we played better as a team so would he. Not that I agree with that attitude, but Im willing to give him a pass due to his potential.

Since our team has been so good and winning consistently before Gruden arrived, clearly Gruden is the problem.

Snyder and the FO has done an exceptional job in getting us such incredible talent in the last 14-15 years Snyder has owned the team and they have never broken rules or been penalized. So it is not them. Consistently a playoff team during the 14 years.

Plus add the the fact the RGIII has never had a problem with other coaches in his 3 years in the NFL. There was a love affair with the last coaching staff. RGIII's play on the field that last two years has been incredible MVP like and he is an Iron Man when it comes to injuries. He is very humble and welcomes criticism, very evident in the post game press conference where he has never blamed his teammates. He works so hard that his footwork and technique is Hall of Fame level. Top notch!

So clearly Gruden who has been here 8 month (?) is the problem.........

Plus there are so many excellent coaches that are dieing to come work here. They'll just show up with a magic playbook, call the right plays and we will win again.

Great post. I hope every Gruden hater reads this. Its mind boggling that people want to blame him.

I don't think Gruden is going anywhere.

But he definitely needs to learn and grow from this season.

He's certainly not without fault in all this. He could have handled some things a lot better. There were some concerns about him coming in about being able to handle the big media market in DC and he's definitely looked green in that area more often than not.

Gruden would still be getting the benefit of the doubt if his group looked sharp and well prepared on game days. They don't, so he doesn't get the benefit. Add in his own lack of prep, stupid play calls, late play calls, and all indications are the problems start with him first and foremost. Then his poor handling of RG and the QB situation in general. Then poor handling of the media.

Right now he's DCs version of Josh McDaniels, with the ghost of Zorn. Worst HC hire of 2014. But he's got 4 games to show improvement and its got to start manana. That's tomorrow.

Folks need to realize, Gruden wasn't in a leadership role in Cincy. Marvin Lewis is a great leader and Zimmer's defense was the soul of that team. Gruden was the long shot HC hire of 2014 and I still say the old boys connection got him this gig. It's gotten more obvious as the season wears on.

I wouldn't say he was a long shot hire, his name was coming up the past 2 years as a potential candidate. He didn't exactly come out of nowhere like Zorn did. And his development of Dalton was well documented.

Yup. For instance, you can't call out players in public like he has, even if his critiques were correct. There's plenty of time behind closed doors to crucify players, if that is what you want to do.

Although honesty should be a virtue, Gruden might be too honest to be an NFL coach.

Some said Dalton even regressed this year, but Green was hurt too I think. Hard to tell.
