A lot of Colt's numbers were in garbage time, in the 1st half he had less than 100.

He had well over 200 yards with three td's and 0 picks when the game was completely in reach. It wasnt until after his last td pass that the Colts broke it open.

It was close for a few minutes in the 3rd but they pulled away again quick.

They did and thats on the D. Colt has been pretty damn good when given the chance. His slow starts could be due to the fact that he gets weeks off in-between starts. Ill be interested to see how he does the rest of the year getting snaps with the first team and staying loose.

wasnt it a 3 point game early in the 3rd quarter? with a 49-27 score im sure there was plenty of garbage time in the 4th quarter but 392 yds is 392 yards.

doesnt gruden get credit for making 2nd half adjustments? 100 yds 1st half, 292 2nd half.

i just cant disagree more with people wanting to fire gruden 11 games in.

isnt that the same stuff we constantly complain about - not being patient.

i guess i really need to watch the game so i can join the pitchfork and torch crowd (i dont think you specifically are calling for gurdens head matty - general rant language from me).

im not saying the 392 yds makes colt a great QB .. im saying 392 yds with colt makes gruden a very intriguing and exciting HC imo.

392 yds with colt freakin mccoy. garbage time or not, thats some good play calling.

yeah it was a three point game for like 10 minutes, then Indy ran away with it.

How much was adjustments and how much was Indy just slacking off when they knew the game was in the bag?

Notice how we still got the L's under all three QB's

This isnt his first QB opportunity to start though and he had time to get prepared.

Some wont like this statement but, I saw alot of the similar issues with Colt as I saw with RG3 yesterday. Holding the ball too long, poor pocket awareness, poor accuracy with easy, routine throws (short outs and quick slants) and not seeing the field.

I also saw the noodle arm twice...

In the offseason, Im keeping RG3 around to work on being a pocket QB. I go into next season with RG3, Kirk and another vet QB.

Bottom line is colts garbage time and non garbage time numbers are miles above Griffs.

11 games in my friend.

did gruden lose the games last year for us as well?

lets give the man at least 1 offseason to work with journeyman talent like colt and then judge him at seasons end.

just give the dude 1 offseason with a coachable QB and a better defense.

there are no better alternatives. there are no quick fixes.

Really effin Shanahan had forever because he won a superbowl 50 years ago. Lol. He left this franchise so much more worse off than it was when he got here.

The Colts were still blitzing defensive backs in the 4th quarter. I don't think they really went into a prevent defense, maybe near the end.

I don't think McCoy is going to be anything more than a good backup, but he's looked so much better than RG3 has this year.

And if next year is as bad, then we've wasted a year for what gain?

This year is a Sunk Cost, better to cut our losses and move on.
