Why so harsh?

I'm always happy when someone finds their one true love.

Colt is definitely the better QB for our team right now

But our gameplan still sucks and that is all on Gruden

Even with Colt the team still was just bad (the first half was horrendous and the second half was okay, but no where near good enough to win)

Truthfully the only reason the Skins even had a chance yesterday was the bad play of Indy.

They let Washington hang in there way longer than they should have.

They had 10 Penalties and 3 turnovers, and they still blew out the skins.

Face it friends, the problem with this team lies with the coach.

Colt has earned the starter spot for the foreseeable future (I say let him keep the role until he proves he doesn't deserve it), but Gruden should leave.

RG3 and Kirk should be traded in the offseason and we should find some good backups for Colt, but without Gruden around, the man is not NFL HC caliber.

i didnt get to watch this game. first game i missed so far this season but i find it hard to believe that gruden somehow shat the bed when journeyman Colt put up 392 yards and 3 tds no ints.

gruden's established MO imo is an elite passing attack.

are we really blaming our 1st year coach for this team's problems? im a huge RG3 fan but its clear to me that he was an anchor holding this team back on offense. On defense it is clear we lack secondary players and haslett cant coach up or get more out of less.

i guess i need to watch the game and maybe i will be calling for gruden's head as well.

perhaps fans are incorrectly funneling all their blame on gruden bc allen has gone MIA and is leaving gruden to take all the bullets and be the weekly messenger of excuses?

allen needs to step up. on radio they were saying they had casserly on a few weeks ago and he said when he was with the skins he did a weekly radio show and never refused an interview bc he wanted to (1) reinforce what the coach was saying and not leave the coach having to answer all the critical questions (2) reinforce the team's overall message and game plan so fans know there is a long term plan in place.

allen needs to step up and not leave a rookie coach to have to answer questions that werent necessarily his doing (roster issues).

im assuming this organizations brain trusts decided it was a good idea to not have anyone from the organization talk during the regular season .. i understand wanting to keep the DS from the public but wasnt allen brought in to be the face of this organization?

wasnt allen brought in to be the clear communicator of what this organizations long term goals and plans are?

Sorry Mountain, but RG3 had nothing to do with Yesterday's loss

Even with a ton of mistakes by Indy the Skins still got blown away

When all three QB's have been tried and the team still gets blown out, its the coach

QB A: 273.3 passing yds/gm

QB B: 249 yds/gm

QB C: 147.8 yds/gm

which QB do you think RG3 is?

stat that may surprise you - we are 10th in passing in the NFL. Imagine our rank if QB C didnt play 3-4 games.

i am a RG3 fan but gruden doesnt deserve the axe or majority of the blame for this season imo.

didnt gruden's play calling just get noodle armed journey man colt mccoy 392 yds, 3 tds no ints? .... and you blame gruden for that? you call that a qb bust?

yeah gruden sucks man .. we totally should have won 50-49.

A lot of Colt's numbers were in garbage time, in the 1st half he had less than 100.

Exactly, I keep trying to say that in the gameday thread.

Great on Colt but the end result was a L.

In ever lost this year some unit breaks down or multiply units. sometimes it is the D then it is the O and/or ST. IMO that falls to the head coach.

At this point in the season we should be seeing some growth as a team and quit honestly if anything this team is worst then week one.

wasnt it a 3 point game early in the 3rd quarter? with a 49-27 score im sure there was plenty of garbage time in the 4th quarter but 392 yds is 392 yards.

doesnt gruden get credit for making 2nd half adjustments? 100 yds 1st half, 292 2nd half.

i just cant disagree more with people wanting to fire gruden 11 games in.

isnt that the same stuff we constantly complain about - not being patient.

i guess i really need to watch the game so i can join the pitchfork and torch crowd (i dont think you specifically are calling for gurdens head matty - general rant language from me).

im not saying the 392 yds makes colt a great QB .. im saying 392 yds with colt makes gruden a very intriguing and exciting HC imo.

392 yds with colt freakin mccoy. garbage time or not, thats some good play calling.

And the offense (again) started the game looking like it didn't practice all week. So frustrating to create turnovers deep in Indy's territory but come away with no touchdowns.

And Indy is a crap defense, arguably worst in the league. Nobody should be boasting about our offense yesterday.
