Figured it warranted it's own thread.

It's a good call.

You are losing the locker room and the confidence of the team by keeping RG3 in there right now. He's not gaining anything because he's overwhelmed.

Just look at the Haill22.com footage from the previous games.

Missing basic concept routes. He can't continue to stall the offense.

There is 52 players on this team that deserve to win and you have to play the BEST 52 players. RG3 was the best QB we had in 2012.. He's not currently the best QB. He could be! He's not right now.

I don't disagree with Colt starting. In fact, I'm looking forward to it; Colt does good, then there's something fundamentally wrong with RG3... And our o-line, though definitely not good, is not as awful as we think they are. If Colt sucks, then he is what we thought he was (and he probably is) and the o-line is probably playing a significant role in RG3's regression.

I'm okay with this.

"While Griffin is not a part of Washington's plan for Sunday's game, he still appears to be a significant part of the Redskins' long-term plan, per another source."

I choose not to believe this part of the article. Instead, this seems to be the beginning of the end for Robert in D.C.

Exactly!
It's bullshit.

I'm all for never quitting but the team is better off playing RG3 and seeing if he is coachable and is willing to learn and improve.

Getting 5 or 6 wins this year does not help us at all and only hurts us since we will have to go into the offseason still wondering about RG3.

This is a great time to get playing time for Phillip Thomas, Moses, LeRibeus, Grant and especially RG3.

What is odd is the reversal in 24 hours. Was the film review that bad? I wonder how RGIII is taking the news. After the stomping he endured on Sunday not to mention the media frenzy, there must be some sense of relief.

I don't see how RG3 can recover from this here in DC. Would there even be a reason to bring him back next year?
