Time to trade Ramsey

If Ramsey does well, it doesn't matter how difficult it will be because the Skins will only make a half ass effort like they did with Smoot and Pierce. If he does well he'll be gone. How could they justify giving him big money when they invested a first round pick in Campbell. Everyone points to San Diego. Ultimately, their man is Rivers. That's why he's signed long term and Brees isn't. I think much the same could happen with the Skins.

Best case scenario: Ramsey plays well, they franchise him and get back into the first round next year.

Maybe we could trade Ramsey and all of next year's draft picks to Denver for Plummer.

LMFAO yeah, lets take and throw a redshirt rookie out in the mix and get his confidence shattered so we can be in the same boat we are now in a few years.
Pierce and Smoot aren't worth the money the wanted, or got, and we'll see that very soon. They're pissed because the organization that pays through the ass for half-assed players is trying to move in another direction, but fuckem. If Ramsey pulls his head out of his ass and makes contributes... They'll pay him more money than they wouldve paid Brunell, which is probably more than he'll deserve, unless he turns into a pro-bowler next year.

We overpay for players, we're idiots. We take a stand and dont overpay for players, we're idiots. We tip our hand in the draft we're idiots, and if we don't we're liars. Hell we should rename the team to the Washington Evilestsandstupidestsonsovbitchesintheleaguewhowil lneverchange.
Cant win for losin.

If I was P. Ramsey I would demand/hold out for a trade. Why stick around? Last year Gibbs gave a mega deal to Brunnell (AARP member) and this year he gives up 3 picks for Campbell (unproven rook). It doesn't show a lot of trust. Gibbs said in his radio interview that they were looking for the future and that Campbell doesn't in anyway change Patrick's standing. Future? Ramsey can't be but 3 years older than Campbell. And do you really draft someone like this in the first round to be on the bench all these years? If a player is really worth next years 1 & 4 and this years 3 do you really want him on bench. That is three players in high rounds that could make immediate impacts for one player who according to Gibbes will be sitting for the next few years. I have faith in Gibbs but you really got to wonder what is going on.
Everyone needs to remember Ramsey hasn't even started 2 full seasons yet, 23 games. And in that time he went from one end of the spectrum to the other in offenses. Shouldn't we give him some time. For some reason I can see it turning out the same way as when Atlanta traded away a southern QB who wasn't given a full chance. That guy went on to lead GB to a Super Bowl and is a first ballot HOF. I am not saying Ramsey is Favre but he has a great arm and a desire and hasn't been given an opportunity.

I think that Campbell has the mobility the Ramsey does not have...

Hate to break it to you but Campbell is a slow poke. He runs 4.69 in the 40 which by definition makes him a pocket passer. While Ramsey improved last year, I'd still take Campbell over him in scrambling.

Hey, my point has been that if they liked Smoot and Pierce so much, they would have kept them around. I think Pierce got more than he was worth. Definitely, I don't even think he's that good. However, when Joe comes out and says these are my core guys and then they walk out the door...tell me how that reflects well on the team.

As for him lying..."We're gonna get the weapons to help Patrick out." ...You pass up Mike Williams to get him the weapons in the 4th Round. I don't care who you all say is still out there...plenty of good ones are off the board. And they aren't plenty of good ones left.

He makes a good point. It may be hard to re-sign Mr. Ramsey. Am I the only one thinking that we may be planning on trading Ramsey and having Brunel be the starter? not that I LIKE this scenario, but I could see it happening.

This is the scenerio that I'm worried about. If it did happen, it would happen today and we would trade for draft picks or somthing. I pray this is not the case and were just blowing this up...but its somthing to think about.
