mredskins 11-18-2014, 08:57 PM Pretty sure RW started his first year. Bangee7 11-18-2014, 09:23 PM Because he's a mediocre coach Being able to talk bluntly =/= Good Coach Not sure how old you are, but I am old enough to remember Joe Gibbs, when he first started. Many thought he wouldn't make a good coach either, when he started 0-5. Many now look foolish for passing judgement a little too soon. How about giving this guy another year or so. Think about all that Gruden has been through thus far. Think about the crap that he's dealing with (1. injury to starting QB, CB, NT, OLB, etc. , 2. the losses in a town that lives in a microscope, 3. the rumors true or not that the media reports on every single day). How much better can someone handle it than he has? That alone shows me leadership and courage. Give him time....he will be successful. Hail! Are you really a Redskin fan? Hail calia 11-18-2014, 09:42 PM Pretty sure RW started his first year. I stand corrected -- you're right, he did. I was thinking of Colin Kapernick, who waited a year before taking over for the injured Alex Smith. diehardskin2982 11-18-2014, 09:51 PM The problem with the Redskins is that ever since Snyder became the owner there is no effort or commitment to fix the foundation of this franchise, do the little things to be a quality franchise. The roster is run like other areas of the organization. He makes a billion dollars a year from us as fans but won't put in any effort to fix the fan experience at Fed-Ex. The player locker rooms at Fed Ex look like a high school locker room. He only recently decided to renovate Ashburn. Snyder is always cutting corners, being cheap. With the roster we are always looking for the flash and sizzle moves to make more money in jersey sales, not quality moves to build a champion. Why have we only had three decent O-Lineman during his tenure? I would argue because line aren't sexy, Trent Williams jerseys don't fly off the shelves. I feel bad for RG3, he wants so bad to be the savior of this franchise, but he will never get the chance because the environment created by Snyder is cancerous. He would be better off in Jacksonville or with the Raiders. Brody81 11-18-2014, 10:06 PM I like everyone else wish for Dan Snyder to sell the team. But that's never gonna have a chance of happening unless fans can get in his pocket by not buying merchandise, not coming to games, not buying his expired beer, etc... Lots of people talk a big talk but if we as fans all banded together and said "no more", changes could happen. This.. Rivers was considered a bust at one point, but the Chargers stuck with him. Rivers in his 3rd year was not a franchise QB. Is it fair to compare a 3rd year QB to a 10 year vet? Have fun freezing in the Atlantic, because you missed the lifeboats. I jumped off this boat when I saw him trying to be a pocket QB. Say hi to Leonardo for me.. Unfortunatly no way Snyder sells the team or I'd say cut him too.... No QB? [emoji62] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk VTSkins1961 11-19-2014, 12:13 AM Forgot that. I'd bring in a free agent QB. We are stuck with RG3 for 1 more year even if he isn't the starter. First we have to address the o-line.... Any QB will get killed back there with our current o-line. No QB? What does that have to do with Snyder? |
