NYCskinfan82 11-27-2014, 12:59 PM I'm really disgusted in my team right now. All this gossiping going on is turning my stomach. I've always been a team first guy. They've got me wanting to chant RG3 RG3. How can you be saying first guy there last to leave then say he doesn''t want to put the time in. There is something your not telling me. Gruden gave up to fast 2nd game dislocated ankle never backed him. F Gruden IMO. I'm a REDSKIN fan firstvbut this I don't like.

And working with him this entire season so far, whether RG3 played or not.
We had plenty of gossip the last two years. And people blamed Mike Shanahan. Now there's still gossip.... oops.
What's important that is something nobody told you... apparently, is that RG3 has sucked this season. So bad that if it weren't for the INTs Cousins outplayed RG3, and McCoy is outplaying RG3.
Maybe it's the system. Thanks to all-22, people can confirm that our WRs are getting open. It really looks like RG3 can't read the field as a pocket passer. And it's not a matter of "just getting it", it's a skill that has to be developed like practically any NFL technique. The pass play is a lot tougher to read from the QB position on the field than the fans eagle eye view from TV.
If only we had an offensive coordinator and head coach that ran a system RG3 could do well in. One that didn't rely on RG3 reading at least half the field, but instead relied on his good play-action and running skills and making quick decisions on simple reads..... but that's crazy talk. As RG2 said: “You name one quarterback out there that would rather run the football than throw the football and I’ll show you a loser.” (*cough* Wilson Kaaepernick Newton )

Gruden has lacked the leadership thus far to keep his group focused and playing at a high level. A good comparison right now is Pettine in Cleveland, first year coach who's QB is playing like shit, but that group comes out swinging every week. Gruden looks like the worst HC hire for 2014 at this point, maybe Smith is worse but his team just kicked our ass lol, but then for all we know Gruden was the only candidate who would come to DC.
And that makes the rest of our season pins and needles. If Gruden burns through the last QB on the roster (supposedly his handpicked guy) without significant improvement it's hard make a wise case to bring him back next year, but what if nobody decent wants the job??
VTSkins1961 11-29-2014, 07:39 PM USC QB Kessler looks good if around in 3rd round might be worth a shot taking... after taking a safety and an offensive lineman

Stop defending RG3.....he has looked good at any point this season. His struggles began in training camp and preseason.....Gruden wants his version of the west coast offense run correctly RG3 failed big time to do that.
KI Skins Fan 11-30-2014, 09:29 AM One problem that all teams are facing now is that they can no longer control the public image of their team. Social networking by players and others, too many interviews mandated by the NFL as part of TV deals, and the need for reporters to get the "news" first, virtually immediately and without fact-checking, is creating a vortex of contradictory messages that are confusing to fans.
In the past, a coach would say something like "We haven't been winning with Robert, so we're going with Colt this week". End of story. The fans could then speculate all they wanted but that one statement is just about all that would be coming out of Redskins Park. The Information Age has changed all that.
From now on, I'm going just to take the change at face value and not get caught up in the politics of the situation. If we win more games with Colt at QB, the problem is solved in the short term. If we don't win with Colt at QB, then it's next man up. I just want to win and I don't care who is at QB as long as we're winning.
VTSkins1961 11-30-2014, 07:03 PM Colt sacked 5 or 6 times - O-Line issue.

rocnrik 11-30-2014, 08:53 PM The O line does indeed suck..and the missed blocks by the RB's just adds fuel to the fire. It really is a total team melt down at this point..Things don't look to good for next year either..what will be different? a few botched draft picks won't right this ship..after pulling for this team for over 40 nears i'm close to giving up on this mess..
Irrefutable 11-30-2014, 11:11 PM first get some good scouts
Then trade down, and horde draft picks like New England does
