Can anyone opine on how Luvwow played?

The whole Snyder Hate thing is starting to drive me up a wall. Was he on the field at the Cowboys game?

Sure, he has an opinion about what he wants. Guy paid a bazillion dollars for the team, writes a few million in paychecks every week - you know what, he's entitled.

Does he emasculate his coach in prime time? Is he wheeling an injured RGIII around on the sideline like the Atlanta owner did with Vick way back when?

I am just not convinced that Snyder's "meddling" is anymore than most owners in this league.

Gruden held Griffin out, even though he was physically ready for the Cowboys game. If Snyder wanted to meddle, THAT was the time to meddle. Gruden said "Colt starts" and Colt started.

Gruden is going to get his opportunity. So far, so good. Fire Hazlett and so much the better.

vent over.

Snyder actually deserves credit for keeping his cool...after turning the team over to the professional GM (Allen) the on field product has mostly been worse, and often far worse, than the Cerrato days, especially when Gibbs/Williams were on the sidelines.

I'm not suggesting Snyder step back into a more active role or anything like that, but if he's truly been more hands-off since Allen, it certainly hasn't translated to a better product.

I like Gruden. Dude is upfront and tells it like it is. Also note the comment about the "fragile ego" was more or less directed towards Robert. It fits because you constantly see Robert tweeting some sort of defense to his detractors. I'm with Jay, man the fuck up, grow some thick skin or get the hell out of the league.

The problem is if you list the "fails" or reasons for losing the game, RG is at the bottom. Gruden is more responsible, by a long way, simply because he's the HC. But more specifically here because Gruden still hasn't called an offensive game worthy of a win. Has Morris got over 20 carries in a game yet? Who the hell called a dink and dunk pass play right before the half?

You don't see great coaches call that shit. Most would pound the rock, but if you do pass it's downfield so if intercepted the opponent has a long field to go. If Gruden is learning, it's very slow at this point.

We heard all about the value of leadership BS when Fletcher was on his last legs here. Keenan Robinson has been a big upgrade. We need to find the same type of upgrade for Clark after this year.

Yeah, you are right. I love Fletch but are we really missing his 2013 version?

Adding a quality FS would make the whole defense better. You can attack the line more if you know someone has got your back.

He showed once again that he is the smartest free agent acquisition EVER.

I think people are just frustrated with the past 15 years of Snyder. They want someone to blame for our unsatisfactory performance during his tenure. We haven't had a great season since the death of Jack Kent Cooke. There has been a pattern of Snyder over riding decisions and acting as GM and -allegedly- as coach over the years, and it's made people cynical and skeptical of every decision any coach makes past present and future. It doesn't help that we have ESPN adding fuel to the flames.

I'm grateful for Jay Gruden though. He's very direct and appears honest and improving with every game. We need a franchise coach just as badly if not more so than a franchise quarterback.

Now if he would just give the effin ball to Almo about 5-10 more times a game id have no problem with the guy.

You realize you are exactly wrong, right? A 1 minute drill with time outs, you will always see 8-12 yard outs, trying to take advantage of the open middle and hope the receiver gets out, but with a timeout in the pocket you know you can call if he gets tackled. The long passes only come when there is no more time to move down the field methodically. And you don't pound the rock with less than a minute on the clock, because you need about 3 plays to get into FG position. If you are going to run Morris at that spot, then take a knee and come out and get the ball to start the half - of course had he done that then people would have lamented his lack of aggressiveness.

Disagree. Couldn't count the number of times I've seen Brady (especially), Rogers, Brees, and Mannings huck the ball downfield in exactly these situations. That's the whole point, if there's a turnover 30 yards downfield the opponent has more ground to cover. Especially when you've got Desean Jackson catching passes, right?

LOL where does the 8-12 yard exactitude come from? Wait, if it's 13-20 you might have an argument hehe
