Could have gone under the "positives" from the game but thought it deserved its own thread.

Keenan Robinson named NFC defensive player of the week | ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/10/22/keenan-robinson-named-nfc-defensive-player-of-the-week/)

Robinson has been one of the positives so far this season. We had a position of need and he has stepped in admirably. Had he not, our interior defense would be in real trouble given Riley's shortcomings.

I am hoping, now that he is playing regularly, he will continue to improve and become a real force in the center.

thats cool, yeah the defense hasnt been bad, its going to get a test against the cowboys and that Oline. Dream scenario is we knock out Romo for the year on a Jason Hatcher sack...

One of our rising young stars, and definitely a core Redskin if he proves that he can stay healthy after battling injuries his first couple years.

awesome.

he has an instinctual nose for the ball which cant be taught. much like london fletcher, he is the first or second guy bringing down a ball runner.

seems real long and lanky to me. looks like he has good wiggles in his hips, seems like he can shift his weight well and control his momentum. i.e. there was an innocuous run play last week where a skins player was trailing a runner who ran out of bounds. i was worried that the skins player's momentum may carry him into the sideline as well and maybe cause contact ........ the skins player stopped on a dime from a full sprint and didnt even touch the sideline. i havent seen a guy control his body and speed like that in a long time. that guy was of course keenan robinson.

the staff should get credit for finding this guy (5th rounder?), scouting his talent to know to hold on to him despite injuries and now coaching him up and having him in a position to win NFC DPOW.

He has the skill set to be an All-Pro. I've been waiting to see him on the field...he hasn't disappointed. If he stays healthy he'll be one of the best LBers in the league for a very long time.
