I don´t deny that. But - looking at the 10 last Heismanists that are already in the NFL:

2012: Manziel - doing nothing so far
2011: RG III - great Rookie year, then injury after injury
2010: Newton - doing okay
2009: Ingram - meh
2008: Bradford - more injured than playing
2007: Tebow - out of the League
2006: Smith - recently released in the CFL
2005: Bush - doing quite good right now
2004: Leinart - wandering backup
2003: White - no NFL career whatsoever

Base line: Heisman Trophy means nothing on the pro level.
