2) However, let's be a little more fair to Jay Gruden / Haslett / Bruce Allen. Every team has injuries, but we've been hit hard. We've lost:
- starting QB, NT, CB#1, CB#3 (Porter)
- played this game w/o: CB#2, MLB#2, OLB#2 (Kerrigan)
- most of year w/o TE#1, backup safeties (Nacho)
Admittedly Arizona has still been 5-1 despite injuries to QB/etc -- but almost every other team in the league would suck without their QB & key players.
3) We NEED to draft early round O-linemen. Dallas just beat Seattle, with only one sack and >160 rushing yards, with a stellar Oline. We have a lot of needs, but ignoring our trenches is why we have a lot of "superstar players" but few wins. We need to fix the line, the no-name players in the trenches to win against good teams with pass rushes. We need to be able to run with A.Morris again.
POSITIVE: At least I get my Sunday's back.
SouperMeister 10-13-2014, 01:01 AM Until the Skins get serious about rebuilding the O-line, the offense will be inconsistent at best. RG3 was dynamic enough as a rookie to overcome this weakness, but other than Trent Williams, I would not be upset if we ditched the rest.

Cousins stats were 27-50 (54%) 300 Yards 1 TD 3 INT
He has his good days but it always feels like there has to be at least one Interception.
RG3 can't come back soon enough. Hopefully give this team a spark.
Defense doesn't create turnovers. Period
Remember when we had a QB controversy...those were the days.....well not really, but they were certainly preferable to whatever this is.

Never had a QB controversy. I stated Cousins was playing well enough to be a good QB. Now that teams have film on him its difficult to judge what he will ever be. The good thing is hes great off the bench and if he keeps playing like this, we can resign him cheap because nobody will want him lol

The defense despite its mant glaring flaws kept the team in the game, the three horrid picks, topped off with last being a pick six, doomed this team. Cousins has not been right since the Giants game.
Positives: we are one week closer to Griffin coming back
Big C 10-13-2014, 08:08 AM I don't even get mad at Redskins games anymore. This team has killed my passion for the team. I go into games knowing we are already going to lose. Damn shame what has happened to this franchise. Another lost season. We are 4-18 including last season. That is beyond pathetic.

Wow! Just seven core players, only one lineman, and no RGIII? I hate to think we have that far to go. I'm too old for this.

If we're talking about blowing the whole thing up and keeping who we assume are/can be the core 'skins, I'd probably say on offense, Griffin, Morris, Reed, Jackson, Garcon, Trent Williams, Young, and Roberts (I know he had a bad game but I still think he's very serviceable.) On defense, Kerrigan, Hatcher, Robinson, Amerson, Hall, and Murphy.
With the exception of Trent Williams, the entire offensive line needs upgrading and beefing up. The defensive line could use some work as well. Orakpo is expendable and shouldn't be on the team next year. Hasslet needs to go. Heck, is Beathard still with us? I wonder if he'd be willing to come in and consult with the front office?
