Week 5 and I'm already out of optimism. How is the line only 7.5 on this one??

Seahawks 41
Skins 17

Because teams that travel across country to play generally don't fare well.

Also, you are the last person I expected to give up so soon.

I feel like that is more of an issue for the afternoon games then the evening games.

If you saw the stuff I posted in the other thread, they noted the times of the games didn't matter.

I would feel a lot better about this game if it wasnt in primetime. We shit the bed when the lights come on and so does Kirk.
While many on this board dont agree I think Wilson is a top 10 qb,maybe top 5.He's smart, can run the zone read and be a pocket passer and makes good decisions, plus NOT INJURY PRONE.
Dont see how this will be close, defense cant stop anybody, special teams are a joke, offense is too mistake prone.

Skins pull the upset. Skins 24 Seattle 20. We don't usually win these games, but we usually play them close. This time saint cousins comes thru

I am trying to become a reformed pessimist. I guess I might have picked the wrong season for that!!!!
It may prove to be an.......uphill battle. I applaud your effort!

Are they still running the read-option in Seattle?

They do some RO plays from time to time.

I am so bummed that we are almost ready to play out the string, and it's the beginning of October. Chalk Seattle as a loss and a 1-4 start. Gruden isn't committed to establishing the run, like most WCO coaches that are enamored with their own passing attacks.

Seattle 34
Washington 13

You nailed it, Jay Gruden sadly is not going to be the second coming of Joe Gibbs. It is evident he is too enamored with his West Coast passing game, even though the strength of the team is running the football. Unlike, Gibbs who was a Don Coryell disciple and was likewise pass happy, and did not adjust until an 0 - 5 start. Unfortunately I think Gruden is too stubborn to change philosophy.

Regarding this game, Seahawks 56 Redskins 13. Kirk throw five picks and has another fumble. Seattle has two defensive scores and one special teams score, thus the big blowout. Fed Ex field empty of Redskins fans by the third quarter.

(Edited Kurt to Kirk.....and to all of the Cousins fanbois he is still 1-5 as a starter, at this stage I could careless about RG vs. KC debate, I want to see this team win)
